The event is an overall 6/10.

You guys can do better. To me, it seemed like you guys "rushed" to create this event.

Could've been better "rare" avatars and more events like collecting letters or crossword puzzles. Think outside the box.

I am very impressed at the new play with the gm system and I hope that it will work better and give more players a chance to actually compete in a game with a gm. And gold and gp bonuses are always nice although I would have to agree with jentage that the ability to earn letters(NOT POINTS) or do other activities for avatar prizes is more fun then buying them straight from a shop. Keep up the good work! (It always pays to be nice even if I'm still bitter over redeeming the points for the last event >_>)

While we'd like to have more of those types of events, they require a lot more time to plan. Given that we recently have a couple of big complex events, we didn't have as much time to plan another one.

NEW: Each hour there will be 3-4 games, with 1 GM per game. An invite poll will be posted in the Events section of the Gunbound forums the evening before the day of the games (so for games on August 23rd, the poll will be posted the evening of August 22). Simply go to the poll and pick which time you'd like to play. We will then pick 15-20 users to play each hour. You may sign up for multiple hours, but you may only play once! If you are picked, you'll receive a PM through the forums letting you know you've been chosen and the ID of the account that will message you with the game information in game.

All players must be in game at least five minutes before the game starts in order to receive the private message with the game information (which will be sent out five minutes before the game starts). If you miss this message because you're late, you will forfeit your chance to play (though you may try again on another day). DO NOT GIVE THIS INFORMATION OUT TO ANYONE. If we discover you've given out the game information, or if you've received this information from another user and try to get in the game, you will be kicked from the game and will forfeit any chance to play in the GM event the rest of the event period.

Yes, I love how the GMs read peoples' complaints about GMs all being in one room from the last event and used their ideas in this one. =). Seems like it'll be a blast. Too bad I can't play with a GM though.. ><

when do we actually get the PM on the forums that we have been picked? It says the poll closes at 1pm, by when do we know what time we will be participating at if we are chosen?

1pm-1:30pm PDT time they will be sending pm's through the forums to those who were chosen.

Since this event is kind of lacking, can you put the old event avatars from this months event back in the rare avatar shop......not everyone could charge enough in not even one month to get the avatars they want, who seconds my opinion of putting back the ice warrior neo obs obsy dragon hercules and korea GB for a week or two, or just throughout this entire event period...

Ridiculously unnecessary.
For the second game, I believe, they posted a room in server 6. The pass was 2336.
I got into the room, defying my slow fingers and reflexes.
As soon as I got into the room, GM_Killua left the room. He lost the key.
So we were all sitting in there wondering what in the world was going on.
As soon as we all left, he recreated the room (I would assume. The same GM, also.) and we all missed out, though clearly we were supposed to play.

GMs should get unlimited kicks, because it makes those of us who missed out when we were so close to it feel like trash. Not to mention, it's vain and awfully callous.
It's a pity that I was actually in the room. And as soon as I got in, and felt relieved, he left.

Also, for the record, I am not the only one upset at the letdown and massive disappointment. There were 7 others who were, and I say this lightly, extremely mortified.

just curious.. we played in server 6 game 45 password 1976 with someone called GM_Vanquish i believe.. he had the ijji icons and all, but he isn't listed on the "Gm's you might meet" list. He's real though right?

Excuse my sarcasm; No, he actually just had the icons, the ijji guild adjacent to his title, the underscore in his name, the private room, and the server message that everyone saw with the room and the password.

Flaw number one. Don't pester me with that unless you are absolutely positive. Otherwise, what good is making an uneducated guess? I wonder. In any case, I right clicked the room several times, and did, in fact, see the guild 'ijji' just above his name. Interesting.

Server messages have been proven to be hackable, aren't you bright. But if you'd noticed the people that got into the room before the server message, you should know; well, probably not you, that they did the poll and were PMed with the password. How do I know this? Because I ask. And I do my research.

I advise you to catch up on your own.
And yes, I'm quite sure that you need to.
