I get this as well... mcafee says one of the game guard updates are a virus and can't start game without it >.< =((

I have the exact same problem! McAfee removes the trojan, which then gives me a error that prevents the game from starting -_-

Delete the Gameguard folder and "disable" your AV and try re-launching.

McAfee is a horrible AntiVirus..and this proves it. Try and allow some exceptions on your firewall(s)
