Rocket or machine gun?

I'm a level 17 attempted E-Style player that hardly uses melee and snipes quite a bit. My current config is the dual Zaurus A revolvers and a Nico *5. I am wondering whether i should get the maxwell LX30 as I have heard it is a must, or whether i should get the level 15, 50 damage rocket launcher as I really want to try it out. Would it suit my style of play? I mainly play mansion and (contrary to my E-Style claims possibly?) like to be right in the middle of a firefight. I have 3888 bounty. should ig et better revs and the maxwell, or a rocket?

You will end up having more suicides than kills..........and it only does 50 damage if you get a direct shot.

k i got the LX30 and made 80k EXP and 10k bounty in about an hour and a half or something (lost track) now i've got spare bounty (taking into account stuff for lvl 20) i might try the rocket launcher. To anybody that is in a predicament like i was in, get the LX30.

As you're an e styler, I HIGHLY recommend machine gun. The spray is awesome on that gun (sux far range so revs are a good combo) and you don't have to reload often which is important on an e styler. Rockets cna work too but, in my opinion, is more effective with a k styler because of RS and fast shooting of SS.

Maxwell LX30 is a great, high fire rate rifle. You made the right choice.

i'd have to agree with the general crowd by saying that machine guns are always better and faster than rockets. After all the game is called "gunz" not "rocketz"

Ok when I reach 25 I might invest in a rev-MG combo, depending on whether I change my style of play or not until then. Thanks for the replies guys, I appreciate your help :)

At that level, the Maxwell is the best weapon available, you'll get more kills with that. If you're accurate, you won't need much ammo to kill anyone and your movement won't be hampered.

The Rocket Launcher is nice, but it's better for groups or atk def games. If you plan to use a RL, save it for a team game. RL's are great for killing Kstyists and turtlers too, as long as you use it right. Unfortunately, having your movement hampered sucks, so you have to adopt a new play style to use it well.

Also, technically the maxwell is not a machine gun, but an automatic rifle. Use controlled bursts to keep your accuracy good and not waste ammo, regardless be prepared to be called a sprayer by noobs if you only fire off 3-9 round bursts.

Well, i'm level 26 now and i'ce got an MG. I don't like being hampered by the -10% speed (don't care about wall climbing). It's good in the middle of a firefight, and packing revs with it helps long range, but I think, despite what lunar said, you can hold down the LMB with the Maxwell and still hit almost every bullet at range if the opponent is only moving slightly.

Both are pretty good depending on your style though.

Maxwell rifle you cannot go wrong with. You're almost guaranteed a kill if you're in a straight-of-way on the map and multiple people (2 or more) are fighting in it.

However, if you cannot aim with it...you should probably go uzi.

Rockets are always good, unless you're a guy and you want to SS them(floor skim).
Rockets break guards. Turtler? No problem! He's just a sitting duck!

However, you can also be horrible with rockets. If you don't understand splash damage you're going to hurt your self a lot. LIkewise, if you don't understand that girls SS to the left and you decide to do it by corners to the left, you're going to hurt your self.

Personally, I'd go with the MG.

Maxwell LX30 automatic rifle is the best gun in the world bazzocas or rocket lancher are slowin reloding and don't take that much damage!!!

Like many people have said rockets should be used mainly for Attack and Defend. So fun to double rocket it and be called a hacker :D .

Rockets in atk & def, are msot liley gonna be used by campers. Rockets are good for tdms, but not atk & def, beacause its cheap.
