Maybe, but its specs never change for the past decade for the GTR models. Thats why its losing its hype in the tracks on both GT1 and GT2 catagory as of today. Because other car manufactures are building better racing machines; lighter chassi, better engine components, etc.
When Nissan came out with the V35 Skyline, its torque specs are lighter than the regular GTR models due to the V6 engine. Even in 2002 the Skyline GTR V-Spec 2 Nur (Nurburgring Edition) losing to its competitor the 1999 Porche 911 Turbo the fifth time in the Nurburgring Track (the most challenging and difficult track in the world) in both GT1 and GT2 catagory. In 2003 the Nissan Motors Company recreate the Nissan Fairlady (300ZX for the United States) to become the 350Z in shape of almost looks like the Porche's chassi design. (which to me shows sign of regretablilty). Though I have no updates on how that models ability is doing so far.
I'm still rooting on for the Skyline linage, but they better think of something better for the GTR models because its becoming absolete. They are really good back in the 80's and the late 90's but now they not much of a competition anymore even if you put outstanding performance parts and a really good driver.
