Could use a bit of helpfull understanding

why is it that when i play gunz it freezes usualy during the middle of my game, and i have to wind up restarting my computer, but when i play soldier front it never freezes but the requirements are exactly the same as gunz. please inform me of why this is happening :(

i already looked there , threw all 20 pages nothing :(

Try taking some junk off your computer:=p: add/remove (Unused) programs, and then maybe try defragmenting your files and dont run any other programs while running gunz.
It could also be caused by viruses, try running a scan and kleaning out any unused files and deleting your cookies. there are alot of little things that can make a big difference in performance

ok, i did all that last night, and when i got done uninstalling some junk , and defragmenting and disk cleaning, it was a re leaf but gunz is still freezing, i think its my vista (home basic) could that be it?:confused:

it happens sometimes to me too and u will have to wait atleast 2 minutes... it's better than restarting ur computer
also try pressing escape, and if the gunz screen closes just reopen it; if not wait 2 minutes

Um, did u install vista while using xp or did u buy computer with vista already on it? If u install windows vista onto computer with xp alot of people i know are having problems too with some programs and sound and stuff. So my solution to this is rollback your drivers back to xp(probably gotta use cd) and make computer like brand new with no downloaded programs. then install vista, then install gunz.
