k i was just wondering, lets say it was an 8 person free for all, as you pass the "item" gates, is it completely random on the item u get? or is it like other games where the lower place u are in the race, the better chance u get of getting a good item and the opposite for the higher places in the race

If you are in first place, you have a 50% chance of getting nothing and half boost. 2nd place can get nothing, half boost, full boost, and on rare occasions, the rush thing. From then on, your chances of getting the invincible rush increase the lower your place. Therefor, its probably best to wait in third place until you are getting close to the finish line. That way, you will get a good boost (most likely) and hopefully get first place.

True, but if you are in first place, you also could score nice combos and boost ahead of the competition.

I have noticed that with more players in the game, the boosts and such you can gain grow further apart...

Like let's say an 8 player game... 1-3 get junk usually while 4-6 gets better stuff and 7-8 generally get the best ones...

Now in a 14 player game, it's like 1-5 get junk, 6-10 get better, and 11-14 get the best ones...

Then again, a lot of it is based off of luck of the draw.
