Playing through router

Hello my wife and I were playing together but we kept receiving an error whenever we would enter the same channel the error was "p2p car error: 5208" or something similar to that. we both play behind the same router and had problems playing gunbound as well. any ideas or suggestions would be great thanks for your time.

What kind of router do you have?


My first suggestion would be port forwarding... but the ports have not yet been confirmed..

the router i have is SMC Barricade. It is a wireless/lined router, i access it via the wireless connection and my wife is connected directly to the router via ethernet cord

Hmm, do you think you can test whether you can see each other in Gunz?

If you can't see each other then it's most likely port forwarding that is the problem. Because I know for a fact that two people under the same router cannot see each other in Gunz (unless ports are forwarded, or some other accommodations are made).

Key, for some reason in Gunz they can in Quest channels.
