Ijji, just make the games launchable trough the client...

Yeah it would make everyones life easier if they just clicked Drift City and they got into game. Then again, ijji has to advertise the game so they want you to go to the website to see whats new while you click Play Live. -_-

yeah but it helps keep your user password safer, u dont know what people put on your computer these days. plus, it makes people view the site making people more aware of ijji. i dont have anything against it. so yeah your quite right about the advertisement thing. i mean youd want veiwers to your site, and if people have to go to your site to log on, then people are gonna look at things read, get involved more. i mean yeah take other sucessful games that use a seperate client. wow whats so different anyway, u can make a shortvut on your desktop to go straight to drift city, or gunz, or soldier front, straight to the login, put your pass and user in then press play live, same time as to press on a game client, enter user and password, and press play. anway if your point of veiw and this is mine

So just because korean games have this system therefore we have to follow it? It's causing abit of a problem as quite some amount of people is having problems with the whole internet launcher thing.
Shows that employees of ijji is lazy...

Another point is that WHY ON EARTH DO THEY PUT A TECHNICAL SUPPORT section on the forums if they are not gonna read it??? Me and a few other members that really love Drift city (DC) is having problems getting the game to run and the developers and GMs and what not do not even bother to reply to our thread. Not even a generic "We're looking into this problem". ZERO, ZLICH, NOTHING. So may i be enlighten as to what purpose that section serves if no one from their side is gonna take a look into that??? Do not even mention the "Ask a question" service they have..... It's like giving feedback to a crappy company., it goes straight into the rubbish bin... 2 days and not even a reply.

As for the virus and what not... If u get key logged... ur keystrokes will be logged regardless of wherether u type it into a browser or game client. A more secure way would be to have an ingame keyboard which u can click with a mouse instead of using ur keyboard to fill in your password; for those who are worried about this. Is this not a better way?? Not gonna happen.. To much work for them...


Advertising can be done on a client as well just, that it need more work and most likely won't be done because it's more difficult then what they have now. They can just make a client or launcher so that before u get into the game you get to see 2 different sections of news. One being notice for the game that you are going to play and the other being a site notice as in, it tells what's happenin in ijji and what new gamers are there and stuff..

The current system they have in place does not advertises their other games well because, just by double clicking the desktop shortcut, users will be forwarded to drift.ijji.com which has no sort of advertisement for any other game they have, other than that distracting banner ad at the top. So what sort of advertising are we talking about?


I'm not flaming anyone in particular but i'm VERY VERY dissapointed with the amount of support that i and the people that posts in the technical support section have gotten (none) even though this is a free service, i expect better. Just becaue i don't pay doesn't mean that i do not deserve any support of any kind. Even a single aknowledgement of the problems i've faced is good.

Roburn, there are mouse loggers too. Ones that follow where your mouse has gone. I do not know if they can track DPI settings for a mouse or not though. If they can, then they can fully pinpoint where you click each time.

Perhaps, then again I suppose they would try and make their stuff 'good' as to 'attract' cash paying customers. As do this broken games, any many before it, I wouldn't spend a dime on it.

Neither would a lot of people it seems, perhaps the tech support staff is a bit under payed these days, or they don't know what they're doing.

Or maybe they're off for the day, people gotta sleep you know.

In either case, I wouldn't expect to see a real solution for quite some time, and if their is, I'll be really surprised. If they don't, then I guess that means they aren't motivated enough to do their jobs, which is understandable as most people don't but we do it anyways since we need to money to buy things, like....food.

Not the first time they've had something like this happened, but you give it a few months and they usually straighten it out. Maybe if they could get stuff right the first time, ha.

I just need to take the time and learn korean, so I can play their counterparts version that have allready been out for a good while and have had all the crap ironed out.

Well well, grew into a flaming thread after i slept erh....


For all those people who said i can't whine because it's free.. WELL... Can the guys at IJJI solve it if i gave them like 50 bucks? which i would most certainly be happy to give them if i get the assurance that after doing so, the game will definately work. Is this how the world work?? I don't think so.

The fact of the matter remains that. The people at IJJI is incompetent. It's not like i'm going. "OMFG I CAN'T FREAKING PLAY, SLOVE THIS, IJJI OR ELSE I'M GONNA KILL MYSLEF." NO i did not. In the technical support thread that i start, i gave specific steps that i took, to encounter the problem; accompanied by screenshots. But they did not reply until i and some people started whining about it. Then they gave us a reply that can be read from the FAQ section which i think alot of players would have read before coming to the forums

Regardless of wherether it's free or not, Ijji needs to be prepared and aware than some of their customers is not able to play their game and is REQUESTING, not demanding, help. But they gave no word on this issue until like a few hours a ago when a forums moderator replied to our question. Although what she/he suggested did not work, it's a good sign.

As to Zereno.... The only person whining here is YOU. You're whining about whiners. Thats what you're doing.
