View Full Version : "Game hack"
Hi!
I installed Drift and when I lunch it window appears "Game hack detected", but game still playing, then, after 3 min it crash with error window with some "cant write to memory" info - because of game guard, I think. Its happens every time I try to lunch it. Im not trying to hack it. I have no other issues with other games. Win XP SP2.
Help me out.

Shut down Xfire, Fraps, Gamecam, etc. Especially the recording ones get counted as hacks.
I dont have anything of this (
Many times restarted PC - nothing :(

Having Steam and XFire running does not seem to place such an error on my computer when they are running.

Uhmm, take off all firewalls, virus protections, Etc..Etc..
P.S. That includes all things such as Steam, X-Fire, Downloads, (MSN/AIM/YIM Etc.. If you don't want lag)

Notice that I also said things as in Steam, X-Fire, and things like that. All i'm saying is ONLY run Drift City. Just saying.

deactivated everything there was in my pc, and still got the same problem, I mean, this game in his closed/open beta stage was better than the live one which is full of bugs and errors everywhere, the GM's are doing nothing, is not even a week since the release of the live service and there are more bugs and problems than ever before
i have the same problem. Dunno whats wrong. all games worked before the gamegaurd update, now i cant play any ijji games.

There was a gameguard patch i think but it doesn't seem to solve this problem -__-

I've got the same error. I'm just play for a few minutes and then and error appears saying "Cannot write memory..." or the game close, one of the two things. I tryed everything: format, reinstall EVERYTHING, defragment, change hardware components, disable antivirus, firewalls... But the problem persists. I wanna know if it's a problem of my computer or it's a problem of the game. Because all of my friends can play this game, with lag, but they can play.
i heard that a media players was counted as a hack for some reason i don't remember the name though... so try closing whatever media player you have going on in the backround or it's possible it could be reading something on your computer such as a virus or something as a hack. and mordar the GM's are doing all they can to try to solve these problems its not as easy as 1 2 3
