i have the game installed, but when i try to run it just keeps trying to download and install it again.
adding new Zip files to the same folder where all the game files are.

does anyone know a way around this?

Same problem, it's really annoying that I have to download over 500 files everytime I want to play the damn game.

The files are being modified by something...

the hash is probably different, that means that the number the game needs (eg, 77fgd9sa8...) is a different one, (eg, 6da6s9fbxc9...) so it doesnt register with skidrush, try deleting GAMEGUARD.DES from your folders and let the game put it back.

Just game guard, but are you sure it is the wrong hash for just the gameguard.des file?
=.= Can you please link me to a hash checker, I also would like to ask to any GM out there, what should the hashes(SP?) be?

that doesnt even has to do with the issue if theres no game guard started how come a missing file will actually let it work is like taking a bone from your spine and see if you can walk without that...
