How Do People Boost at the Starting of the Race?

I seen some people boost at the Starting of the Race.How Do they do that,or was it just a glicth?!?!

You can't boost in the starting of the race, but since everyone's close to eachother in the start, someone might've been sandwiched by 2 cars which makes a mini jump and you get a full boost.

Incomplet3, play with higher levels, most lvl 30s and up can ALWAYS boost at beginning. I don't understand how either.

its a glitch, in the beggining, 2 cars sandwitched me , i hopped a little. and it sed i got full boostXD

if your talking about boosting off the start line...
it's a special part that u find from HUV chases or patrol missions, or you can try to find one in auctions.

Or if it's boosting shortly after the start line, some car probably got sandwitched and it jumped and got full boost

is the itme that gives you a boost off the line the "shift +up to boost" item?

some upgrade items have bonus stuff.. for example i have a lv 19 boost upgrade thing that gives me the ability to do **************** + forward for a boost when im at a complete stop.
so when the race starts, i just do shift + forward and i get a boost.

Probably one of his parts. I was in an HUV party today and someone had let me look at part which let him instant-boost just by pressing drift and forward. IT seems to be a bit more difficult to be sandwiched now though, but I guess its still possible.

ive seen ppl boost from the start (a small boost) i dunt know how they did it and they didnt got sandwiched(because thats hard at the line)

2 types of boost:
1: item boost(u can boost b4 u start and pump urself up) shirt + up
2: boost: dunno how ppl boost right after not too far from start(definitely not item boost since it was a boost started not long after start)


for boost # 1: its an item only given to the "chosen" ones ~
