Why don't "pros" ever play each other?

I was wondering why if you guys are so "pro" then why do you stack teams and make it unfair? You see it all the time, you will see like 2 dimond wands and a ruby wand on one side and a stone hammer or really low rank on the other side. Sometimes you might see a dragon here and there teamed up with like 2 or 3 dimond or ruby wands, But most of the time you guys are just sitting in the room doing nothing waiting for a game to start, but no one will play with you. I was just wondering why you guys never play fair games, Because if you are a dragon or high wand isn't the game kind of boring because you will own all the noobs, dont you think it would be better to play someone who is at your level? So maybe it might be a challenge?

They do it because they are friends.... Most of the "pros" know each other. If you play long enough you tend to get to know alot of people. I persoanally don't mind playing against my friends; if I'm playing with other friends, but if not I don't see the need to fight your own friends.

Hehry is right...as you get higher up in rank...you tend to befriend other pros and there for tend to play together as friends...

Not to mention...this game is about wins...why not have the best team possible?? And pros do play each other...it's called guild wars!! If you want to make a point...have your facts straight before you look foolish... "Its better to look foolish than to open your mouth and prove it"

well, pros tend to pick reliable pros, noobs tend to miss alot and hit team alot(or themselves) and die 3 times in 2 vs 2

I dont think any of you read his post properly. He is talking about how one side has good players and the other side has low ranks. I noticed that when I look in some rooms to see who is in there they let the noobs stay in the room because only other noobs will play with them. hmm wonder why.

Well, in the free zone, 9/10 games is a typical example of "team stacking"(pros vs noobs). Now I know everyone is friends, and I used to stack in avatar on in GBWC, but when there are two silver Baxe+s on one side and four wands on the other, why doesn't one wand just go on the other team for that match. You are in the same room aren't you? It's just one game, and when you lose the people on your team will leave anyway (not the wands). I guess the only pro vs pro matches happen in clan matches and I respect that.

Did you ever concider that we're not stackin for skill but more or less we prefer to play with our friends/guildmates?? What's the point in being in guild if you dont even play together?? It's not our fault if we prefer to play as a guild on a team and no one wants to face us...

high ranks make a room together so they can win, if a pro person went into a pro room, the other spots on his team would most likely be filled by a noob which automatically gives him a huge disadvantage... so he would leave and go make a room with hissss pro friends which repeats this process :xd:

noobs are server 1, by the time u can enter server 7 you should have enough skill to be some sort of competition for "pros" if not, then go make ur own room and play other noobs

K. Here are some reasons people stack teams. 1) Because they still care about winning rate (which is stupid to me). Winrate doesnt prove anything. It just proves that you leave before a loss, and has nothing to do with skill. 2) The high ranks in the room are their friends. I like playing with my friends, and most of them tend to be high ranks. However, I never let someone on my team jsut because their rank is high. Some leave before you lose, or just do really stupid stuff. I dont mind at all playing vs friends. I dont like doing it all day, but especially if its a 4v4 or someting, and a game wont start. we'll either make it 2v2 and vs eachother, or ill switch over to make it 3v3. It's just more fun to play with your friends on your team. Because even though i dont mind losing, i hate losing b/c someone misses a dual and leaves, or anything stupid like that. I know that my friends arent gona leave just because they're about to lose.

haha, pros rarely play with pros, cuz pros dont like loosing. Even if a bunch of pros that do not know the host, flood a power user room, they'll just get kicked if the host looses (usually). Personally, I like competition...beating newbs is pointless and boring.

This is the main reason, plus you have a better chance of winning with higher ranks, they play more often and have more strategy/exp.

As fun as it is...it gets old really fast...it's more fun when you have a challenge and close games...it tests ur skills and whatever (idk i'm too lazy to think of anything that sounds smarter to say :zip: lol)

... I dont really give... Why cant us pros team up? itz a free world ya know? Once you're a pro, you get more friends, unlike those little noobs with no friends on GunBound... But those would be fake wood hammers/wood hammers on a good day vs red dragon on a bad day. Rank is something up until a certain point. You can't have someone that's only playes for a day or two playing against people that have played for years, can you?
Besides, only double wooden hammers are allowed in the free zone i believe :)

I play against other wands/dragons all the time. Usually I just want to be with my friends though, not because I want to stack the room. If I *really* only cared about winning, I'd play 1v1. =)
