The ijji.com team has an immediate opening for talented, dynamic, community-minded individuals to communicate and interact with the ijji user base as Game Masters (GMs). Candidates must be able to commute to our Irvine, CA office on a daily basis. If you think you can be a strong addition to our team, please send us your resume and cover letter!
Title: ijji.com Arcade Game Master
Purpose: A Game Master is a special user within a multi-player online service who acts as an liaison, arbitrator, and official in situations regarding the game and its users.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
-Account action and account troubleshooting
-Develop and maintain customer/player relations in and outside the game
-Maintain an in-game administrative presence and enforce game policies and rules of conduct
-Be an informative resource for the ijji's user base
-Monitor networking and game functionality with the use of in-house tools
-Collect, investigate, and process various data regarding in-game issues, exploits and bugs
-Help brainstorm, create, plan and execute community events and game content updates
-Work closely with team members to ensure milestones are met in a timely manner
-Evaluate games for potential acquisition
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of ijji.com games
- Strong knowledge of the video game market, especially online multiplayer games
- Passion for games--Be able to learn and master game in a short amount of time
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Experience in an online game community
- Strong initiative and can-do attitude
- Ability to independently manage and accomplish multiple tasks
- Proficient computer skills (troubleshooting, MS Office products, basic networking, html)
Basic Requirements:
- Age 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or higher
- Fluent in the English Language (written and oral)
- Must be able to commute to our Irvine, CA office on a daily basis. This is not a telecommuting position.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 10am-7pm, with overtime and weekends if needed
Compensation: Dependent on experience
