View Full Version : Battle Zone ONLY Leveling
Well... I've progressed 20 levels and roughly 45% individual wins (out of 220). So I'm level 24 btw.
Has anyone else done this so far? It beats the hell out of the regular game, knowing that I'll be the first one with the torreno.

when youll get from lv 35 and + you'll see how harder it is and yet this is just the beginning

Well since lvl 45, ive been doing battles and now im lvl 50. But i mostly did battles anyways when i was under lvl 45.

Trust me, missions don't make that 3000-5000 races completed aaaaany quicker.
Think in the long run, and it won't seem that long at all.
btw im lvl 29 now.

but missions get u lvl abit faster....which makes the game more fun and let u use better car -> higher arena->higher exp...u need so much exp to get to lvl 71 that even if u race all the way from 45 to 71 without doing a singel race before youll probably have enough for torreno by 71.....and "ill be the first one with a torreno"...i can pretty much asure u that your not gonna e the first....so get real....your 29...u need lvl 71..and its ALOT of exp....this 200 races u done to lvl 29 wont make that much of a diffrence for your final goal...and saying youll be the first with a torreno is just a disgusting arrogant thing to say....

im lvl 39 @ 610ish races i want fondo but... i gotta lvl... imma go for viper then arena then torero i love racing games... and i used to shifter kart also back in the days so i would rather race then do some bs patrols or huvs

Well it takes about 200 races at about .5% per race (depending on amount of people and assuming that I win them all) for me to level, so it does take quite a while. I can still get ~3% per 7-8 HUV chase, so battle zone is quite slow. One of the greatest turn-offs the game is feeding me now is that I need another 1700 frikken races to be able to get to the Arena. I wish I could just go drive around and have fun, but it's not like there's anything to do while just driving around.

Well when Oros is out, im sure the missions will give you alot of exp.

The leveling doesn't bother me. The leveling rate is fine. I just hate having to grind and grind and grind the battle zone in order to get the Arena sooner. The Torero? Thankfully I don't have any desire for the Torero, otherwise I'd probably just quit or something. You'd think the Torero would be a level 91 car with those coupon requirements (or at least, you know, better than the Arena, which it isn't from just looking at the stats IMO), except there's nothing higher than lvl 71.
I don't know, maybe there's some super special thing that I'm missing about durability, but I don't think I'll know any time soon. That stat is called "Crash" in Skid Rush, but it really doesn't give any (readable) hints about how the stat works either.

I'm not really bothered about those higher lvl cars, i'll just wait for premiums i guess so i can upgrade my panda.

Personally, I probably won't spend any money on G-coins, mainly because I can't really see this game becoming something that I play long-term (for years), due to the lack of things to do. If they were to add some different game modes or expand on some of the potential that the game has, like I said in another post, then I'd be happy to drop some money for things like that and customization gear.
I know this is basically the exact opposite from the way that I felt at the end of the Closed Beta, but... :/

Actually, my ultimate car is the torreno, but its not like I'm NOT going to use the Arena until I get it (XD)
Hopefully by the time I hit 71 I'll already have 5000 races under my belt.
Do you realize that every first place you get gives your crew about 60 crew points? (I had about 10k crew points after 2 days of racing). Heh, even the 1 Million Mitos doesn't turn me off. I know how to get 30k Mitos in an hour, so I can grind out that car within 2 days?

I'll have to test that once I get back in-game.
Edit: Interesting comment about the mitos too. I haven't found a trick to make faster money in the game as of yet. Playing the market is probably the fastest way to make money.

That is probably the fastest way to make money (Except for races above V6 Maybe, I get about 300 Mitos per race at V4, I couldn't imagine making 1k+ per win, I wouldn't have to do what I do)

Thanks for the advice. I typically make around 650 Mito from races that my team wins, and 550 from lost races. I suppose that means that it'll level out around 950 mito or so, based off of the correlation between my level and the mito award.

Mistress is probably pretty close, and will probably have the first Gigas on the game. I'd like a Gigas, but the sheer boredom of doing combos just isn't worth it. Sometimes I wonder if I have a short attention span. :)

Whats going to suck is that no one else will have the V9 when I (and maybe 10 other people) will have them. Whats the point of having them if you cant race them XD
