Parts shop 100% useless

Is anyone actually buying the sh*t from the parts shop? The parts there are always crazy expensive and, for whatever reason, 1 point lower then the exact same stuff you can buy in the AH for substantially less. For 2k I can usually get 2 of each part I need with change from the AH, and maybe 1 part from the parts shop.

And what moron is actually gonna buy gas from the parts shop?!?!?! 200 bucks for 2L of fuel? Who is so desperate for gas (and so rich) they can afford to get that stuff? Every station has a fuel pump that sells for 1/10 the price. Even if they were only 20 bucks, why buy a bottle of fuel? Sure, maybe you run low during a mission but since every mission starts at a fuel station there's no reason to ever be low.

Same with the 2x huv damage and boost protector items, why buy em? Is anyone NOT driving on the left side of the road for combos anyway? Every 10 combo you get an item, usually a 2x damage or the boost protector.

And why would anyone buy a durability enhancer? Durability doesn't mean squat during city driving, and you can't use items during a race when durability is important.

I was wondering about the point of the durability enhancer... What's the point of having it when the only place you can use it gives no effect?

And you're right, why buy stuff from the parts shop? The AH benefits both the buyer and seller because the buyer is getting it cheaper than they'd get from the parts store, and the seller is selling for a better price than the parts store... hmmm

However, there's always an element of chance with bying stuff from the AH. There's a chance that someone will click on it first and you miss out :sad:

Hmm.. Durability seems to effect HUV damage, so that might be useful ingame. But yeah, early players had to use the Part Shop, but not anymore.

i sell a lot of things to the parts shop... sometimes it fetches me more than what i was going to sell it for :lolz:

and to sell stuff. heaven's know what we would do with all unfinished parts and stuff.

Its a good place to sell junk that is worth nothing in AH.

thats not quite correct...the durability does take effect even when u just drive the town...the more durability u have u do higher DMG on HUVs...and also crashes effect your speed less...

It's a shame we don't know how this game mechanic works exactly, or how a lot of other game mechanics work, as a matter of fact. Maybe Ijji won't keep us in the dark forever, because there may not be any way to tell other than when they tell us.

Anyways, the Parts Shop is just about entirely useless except for using mittron enhancers and selling random parts (such as hyper parts) that you don't need that won't sell for that much or can't be traded.

I can usually sell parts in the AH pretty quickly so that is not the issue. I'm talking about the HUV damage boosters and the boost protection items. I never use them and I have enough of them already so I just delete them because they never sell.

The only real point for the parts shop for me is to sell excess damage boosters/booster protectors and OMD coins (when I'm too impatient for someone to buy this stuff from the AH, and want money now)

yea i contribute to hating the part shop, so i started to sell all my parts for 100 unless they were attribute parts lol if u want parts look for my name lilgoob5043 in the auction house for cheap parts ^^ i made alot of ppl happy lol
