Hello GunZ Users,
October 1st, ijji.com will be starting it’s first ever GunZ: The Duel Tournament. Please review the schedule and rules below carefully and play your hearts out! Also, please disregard the old thread of rules, regulations, and schedules, as some may have changed in this post. (Schedule, Rules, Prizes are subject to change)
Schedule
October 1st: Qualifying Rounds Begin
October 10th: Final Qualifying Day
October 11th: Final 16 Team Bracket Schedule Posted
October 13th: Bracket Tournament Begins
October 14th: Final 4 from Loser’s Bracket, Final 4 from Winner’s Bracket
Qualifying Period Instructions/Rules (October 1 ~ 10)
-October 1st, all Clan Rankings will be reset to 0
-Clans must Clan War and attempt to become one of the top 16 clans by the end of the period.
-No Hacking
-All released bounty and premium items are usable
Top 16 Clan Registration (October 12)
-Clan Leaders for the Top 16 must register 6 members into the Bracket Tournament portion. (2 of the 6 are alternate members)
-Submission of an Xfire account contact of the Clan Leader and a “co-captain” to GM_SKiNG (For live support of the registration and tournament)
-Level is restricted to level 21+
-Members submitted must be a member of the clan no later than October 6th
Bracket Tournament Instructions (October 13 ~ 14)
-You must appear no later than 10 minutes after your scheduled appearance time and date. Schedule will be posted on the 11th of October. No changes to the schedule can be requested. You must appear or you will forfeit the match
-The game room information for your match will be sent to the Clan Leader. It is the responsibility of the Clan Leader to make sure all of his/her members appear at the scheduled time
-Maps that will be used for the tournament will be announced at a later time
Bracket Tournament Rules (October 13 ~ 14)
-Double Elimination (Lose, go to loser bracket)
-4 vs 4 10 round TDM
-VOIP is allowed (Teamspeak, Ventrillo etc.)
-No Hacking
-No premium medical/repair kits allowed (bounty med/repair is allowed)
-No changing equips once the match has started
-Excessive latency issues that are perceived to be used as an advantage is subject to review by the GM (this can result in a player kick)
-If a member gets disconnected during the 1st round before any kills are made, game will restart. In the event that this happens twice, game must continue without disconnected member and that member must attempt to rejoin for the next round
-Losing your first match will enter you into the loser’s bracket for a second chance
-The winner of the loser bracket must win 2 matches in the final. The winner of the winner’s bracket only needs to win 1 match
Prizes
1st Place - Unlimited Set of your choice (any released set, this includes LOK) for the 6 registered members. 50 G Coin for the 6 registered members. DS Lite for the 4 registered members who played the final game. A Signed by GM GunZ T-shirt for the 6 registered members. A Custom Title and Avatar in forum for the 6 registered members. Featured clan of the month. 30 Day released set for all “other” members in the clan who did not play in the bracket (Set decided by Clan Leader). ("other" members must be members of the clan no later than October 6th.)

Events are sponsored by NHN USA Corporation, 800 West El Camino Real, Suite 350, Mountain View, CA 94040. The events are governed by these official rules. By participating in an event, each entrant agrees to these official rules, including all eligibility requirements, and understands that the results of the event are final in all respects. The event is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
Event Details:
The Clan War Tournament will start on October 1st, 2007 and will end on October 14, 2007. Schedule of the Final 16 Tournament Bracket will be posted on October 11, 2007.
Event Prizes:
All “offline” prizes are subject to those who reside in North America. “Offline” prizes are items such as DS Lite, T-Shirts, Gift Cards, etc. Users who qualify to win an “offline” prize and do not reside in North America may substitute the “offline” prize for an online prize chosen by ijji.com.
ELIGIBILITY:
You must have a connection to the internet and an e-mail account prior to the first date of this event. The event is open to all ijji.com users at ijji.com. All entrants must be at least 13 years old or older to participate. Void where restricted, taxed, or prohibited by law. Employees of NHN USA and its affiliates, its dealers, its advertising and promotional agencies, in judging organization, manufacturers or distributors for the event materials and their immediate families in the same household are not eligible. NHN USA, Inc. reserves the right to verify the eligibility of each winner.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
Any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this event, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by arbitration. NYN USA reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend any part or all of the event should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of sponsor corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness, or proper play of the event. In such case NHN USA may award prizes in a random drawing from all eligible entries received up to the date of cancellation or suspension. NHN USA and its promotion and advertising agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, or telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, fraud, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions whether caused by NHN USA, users, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the promotion or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions which may damage a user’s system or limit a participant’s ability to participate in the promotion.
