This is my info based off of GoonZu Online which uses a similar, if not identical system.

Variables may be off, but it provides an accurate Rough Estimate for the future.

Hardware

I have done tests on how low on settings the game can run, and found the following computer to be able to run the game perfectly at 20 FPS.

1 Dell Computer

-Windows XP
-1.6 GHZ Pentium Drive (single core)
-480 MB of RAM
-160 GB Hard Drive
-Intel Graphics Extreme 2 (64 MB)
-Conexant Integrated Sound Chip

For 40 FPS, the game stuttered in loading the maps, but only briefly. Very briefly.

A recommended settings for no problem (including future updates)

-1.6+ GHZ Processor (100% will fall under this category)
-256 or + MB of RAM (90% will fall under this category)
-60GB or More of Hard Drive (100% will fall under this category)
-Intel Graphics Extreme 2 (32 MB) or better (95% will fall under this)

(Percentage's based on General Computer user specs for Steam App's and Games)

Graphics

The Game is not very graphics intensive due to how the game is laid out.

I ran it at an average of 33 FPS with an Intel Integrated Graphics Extreme 2 (64 MB) Chipset.

If you have anything higher, then the game will run.

Possible exceptions may be the GeForce MX 440, as I experienced a bit more stutter, but it had a higher average FPS (37)

Again, you don't have to worry about the graphics in this game. If you can play GunBound, you can play Lumina.

Processor

Anything faster than 1.6 GHZ, the game will run.

I've tested GoonZu only in single core computer's, so I don't know what effect dual core's would have with the game. It can cause problems, but I don't think it is likely.

Sound

For sound, I had some slight troubles, but I blame it on my testing with the game. The sound occasionally went quiet, and sometimes, the music went off.

However, that wasn't my worry, as I was busy Alt + Tabbing and such, so that can be attributed to the distortion in sound.

Latency (Lag)

I've played GoonZu on a 768 KPBS/328 KPBS (download/upload) Verizon connection and had no lag problem's whatsoever. Total bandwith usage was only around an average of 0.01-0.16%. Not bad.

I have not tried on a 56k, but basing my info on the general scope, I guess that 56k user's will be able to feasibly play the game, albeit with a lag factor of around 3-21 seconds.

If you experience high latency with the game, Spyware and Ad-Aware will be to blame.

To Fix such problems, just simply google "Lavasoft Adaware SE personal". I will not provide a link.

It's supposedly the Installer's fault.

I've tried it on a dual core processor and everything work fine, I've had no issues. (Core 2 duo)
