This is what I posted on another topic:

One thing I am worried about is, there are only a certain amount of people that go on ijji.com, right? The more games there are on ijji.com, the less people playing each game. Especially when one game is really popular and another is not. Golf King was a really nice game. The best golf game I have played in awhile. It got deleted because after GunZ and Soldier Front came out, it had at most 150 people playing it at the same time. Soldier Front has on average around 3,000 people playing. KwonHo is slowly becomming less popular, as is Drift City and Gunbound. Royal Chess has never been popular. It probably wont survive the Luminary invasion. Right now there are only 18 people playing. Once Luminary comes out, there may very well be another game that is deleted, possibly KwonHo or Royal Chess. Im saying this because Luminary has a lot of potential to be really popular, which means the other game's population will go down the tubes. I doubt GunZ will be less popular though. It's popularity is even really huge despite the hackers. Imagion GunZ without hackers.

On the other hand, Luminary will have a very low population and not many people will play it. Possibly around 1,000. Judging from the condition of GoonZu, id say this is more likely.

How am I able to guess these numbers? I just analyze things a lot and in depth. My parents say I do it too much.

Change is too rapid. People like to stick with what they are comfortable with.

I really think I will enjoy the game, so id like it to come out as soon as possible. I just dont want other games I enjoy to be like graveyards because they are so empty.

They won't, unless someone brainwashes them =]

lol I wouldnt be surprised if they did get brainwashed.

GhostKorean

Why would they?

Drift City maybe gathered....a few hundred players from other games?

Its loosing popularity though. That has nothing to do with brainwashing, just bad game designing. I dont want to change the topic here, but leveling is so hard outside of missions. It takes forever.

yo ... u think gunz is the only one making Ijji stand up .. hahaha ur funny cause i think when luminary comes out its not even gonna be funny .. gunz personally on my opionion its wack people call us noobs becasue we spray .. but why is called gunz.. it should be called monkeys jumping around with swords . i play gunbound and im not bragging about it .. im not saying there is more games better then this but ... the funny thing is that gunbound came out first.. on ijji so i think where the ones who started u guys off ???? it and when u said new games more players actually it might be true .. how do u know they might grab a new game from like k-2 network or something .. and like 1,00000 play knight online have u ever thought of that... or they can just grab rakion up here and the thing is even thoe we have new games ... they have dates for what game there going to update .. there gms they're organized so if u think gunz is making ijji STAY AT THE TOP then :lolz: if we got gunbound worldchampion to come here u guys would be screwed becasue this is only half of the population of people playing gunbound u know that right, we just got seperated casuse they made wc international , if we never got seperated we havel ike over then 100,000 people playing

I don't think that it will make anything go anywhere. The only reason any of the games would disappear would be if the population drops to a relatively low population. For example, there was a platform fighter, (maplestory gone futuristic type thing) and with gunz coming out at almost the same time, the game lost a lot of its population. However, Gunz didn't even remotely hurt Gunbound (at least that I could see). Shortly after, Solder Front came in, and this didn't hurt either Gunz or Gunbound. And Finally Drift city. It didn't hurt any of the other (popular) games. I think the only way that the site can lose a game is if it introduces two similar idea games close to one another.

Another thing that IJJI needs to do too though, is ADVERTISE. I mean, sure, right now they're advertising GunZ in conjunction with, "Sword of the New World", but they need to start reaching outside of a 2 site range. I'd love to see an advertisement on TV or somthing, and be able to say, "Hey! I play that!".

I'm sure that it would bring in several people, especially if the games had awesome ideas (like they do already).

Plus (this relies more on the game's designers) the games need to have somthing that other games don't, that would make the player want to come and play this one instead of the one they're currently playing. (I.E. for GunZ, Drift City and Solder Front, there's the RPG elements that make it more fun,)

But, since it's not my call, I'm just gonna finish up here by saying...

Since it's a new idea for IJJI, and since it isn't released so shortly after any other games, I think that some people may try it, and keep playing other games too.

1. why u make big deal about being called noob if u can own em with ur sprayers their gonna call u evrey name there is but hey guess wat just tell "bit** u just got pwned by a noob sprayer" simple as that

2. yea ok then gunz would have around 200k players ppl just stilll play iGunZ beta bekz even thought it has no prems, quests, duels, etc it has some weps and armours ( huge 2 handed sword, double GOLDEN rockets, longswords) that arent in NAGunZ "iGunZ considered"

3. yea "if we got gunbound worldchampion to come here u guys would be screwed becasue this is only half of the population of people playing gunbound u know that right" big word in the beginning IF IF IF IF IF

4. i dont even think ijji was even that popular be4 gunz....comoen it has games like switcherro and multi blocks wtv the name is and then cam gunbound and ijji went up......GunZ came and how come i never see more than 1.5k players in GunBound while i see 10k ppl in GunZ!?!?!?!?

5. i wasnt trying to be funny im being real

6.On November 8th, 2006, the closed beta for the North American version of GunZ was released at 11:00 PM GMT/UTC on the game portal site ijji. Upon release, the game surpassed Gunbound, ijji's then most popular game, with more than 5,000 players on at any given time. Wikipedia(c)

More games is not a bad thing, every new game will draw some attention, and it will also increase the likelihood that a first time visitor will find something they would enjoy, I originally came here for GunZ, but seeing SF was another game I might be interested even after I stopped playing GunZ I still found a game to enjoy, and the same goes for Drift City, if they didn't have SF I probably would of left and not come back for a good while, and the same again with DC after I got tired of SF, and many people are the same (not necessarily because of SF, just game variety kept people here). The more games there are the more the population will grow, and the growth spurred by one game will spill over into other games here that people find interesting, it's not a bad thing at all. If you look at GunZ it's still got about the same population it used to even with SF and DC, so those people playing SF (which also increased in population from what it used to have 2k to 4k) and DC have got to have come from somewhere, this site isn't a closed loop, anyone can join.

Well all they need is Ijji to be Advertising as other people said b4.!!!! that will get like 10k people to notice or even more!!! but yes i do agree with the more game mean less people playing da game. but as i say advertise!! is the key to get people to notice. i barely see any advertise from ijji. i heard off ijji from a friend of mine. but to me i dont like either Gunz nor Solder front both are boring. SF is like 2/4 of the people are glitcer/cheating/tapper/others. Gunz no comment. drift city, car game were never been my game choice. but it seem to be an ok game. Gunbound i dunno it seen to be 12 year old game for me. and kwondo, fighting game online? and vs other country server, lagg tons, laggs= people gave the game bad reps and less and less people play.

GhostKorean

10k people playing this game?
