Introduction
Rifles are fast shooting guns that have a fast reloading time. It is better at close range than snipers for new players. Using a Rifle is extremely effective at close range since it can kill off an enemy with 8-14 shots. It is also useful for achieving headshots at close range and not to mention the faster moving speed of using it than a sniper rifle.
There are currently 4 types of Rifles in Sfront.
They are the:
M4A1
Capacity:30 Bullets
Power:Very High
Recoil: High
Precision: Standard
Weight: High
Rate of fire: Fast
M16
Capacity:30 Bullets
Power: Standard
Recoil: Standard
Precision: High
Weight: Standard
Rate of fire: High
AK-74
Capacity:30 Bullets
Power: Very High
Recoil: Very High
Precision: Standard
Weight: High
Rate of fire: Very fast
G36-C
Capacity:25 Bullets
Power: Standard
Recoil: Very Low
Precision: Low
Weight: Standard
Rate of fire: Fast
Now each one of these have advantages and disadvantages to them. I suggest getting the AK-74 for the high damage. However, adapting to the recoil is a must.
This brings us up to our Pros and Cons.
Pro and Con
As efficient as rifles seem, they have there own pros and cons. Below is a list.
PROS
-High damage at close range
-Faster moving than sniper
-Good Precision
-Fast attacking speed
-Fast reloads
-5-8 shots to kill.
-Easy kills at close range
-Has crosshair to aim.
CONS
-Bad at far range shooting
-Easy target for snipers
-Recoil makes it hard to hit
-Usually takes alot of damage before killing off opponent
So as you can see, it has more pros than cons. That does not mean you should use rifles.
Knowing your gun
Using a rifle means knowing adapting to your gun. You need to know how effective your gun is against opponents, how to properly use it, and how difficult it is to take out your opponent.
Rifles have a horrible recoil to them. However, if you learn to adjust to it, you will play fine.
Here are a few tricks to avoid missing because of recoils.
-Ducking/crouching while you shoot your opponent. Be sure to waddle side to side.
-Pointing your crosshair in the middle of your opponents body and not always aiming at their heads.
-Continuously forcing your mouse down when you shoot your opponent.
-Click seperately for each shot.
Knowing your gun means calculating how much time it takes to kill an enemy. For example, I memorized the seconds it takes to kill an enemy with a M41A. It approximately takes 2.5 seconds to kill an enemy. This is critical since if you have very low health and you need to find out how much time do you need to kill if you hit most of your shots. This means you need to find a surprise position that you can hold for the amount of seconds, kill off your opponents before he kills you.
For example, if you are in Shanhai and you need to kill off your opponent behind the box guarding your submarine that you need to get upon. However you don't have a sniper to take them out. So what shall you do?
You need to find out how to take him out.
Behind the submarine, there is a warehouse, with two windows. You simply go behind one of the windows and hit him out before he can spy you and take you out. If you don't know how long it takes to kill an enemy, he can take you out before he you can finish him.
Getting know the time it takes to reload your gun is also very important to killing an enemy. If you run out of bullets, you need to low if you can reload your gun if your opponent can kill you. If the time is too long, such as close range sniping, you might want to take you your second weapon or your knife.
One last thing you need to know is how many bars you can have before you need to repair your gun because it becomes very inaccurate. Most guns can lose three and a half bars before they start to miss alot and barely hit.
Knowing and Adapting to your environment
Knowing how to adapt to your environment is an important part of playing with a rifle. This means you know the many places to recharge, the important alleyways in the map. There are many important places on each map that you need to know well. For example, the map, Shanghai means that you need to take out that sniper behind the box guarding the sub. So what shall you do? You find a place where you can kill the sniper without him seeing you. Here are the few places on Shanghai to take out the sniper.
Shanghai
Behind door next to warehouse.
Next to the box behind door.
The two windows in the warehouse.
Boxes along the dock.
Ledge right of warehouse.
I will give some places where you can take out the person who is carrying the Deoxyribonucleic Acid to the circle in the hospital map.
Hospital
-Near garbage can
-Inside the Alleyway(Can only guard one passage)
-Around the corner(Can only guard one passage)
-Backed up next to ambulance
-Close to streetlamp(Snipers will have an annoying time taking you out since their shots will hit off the lightpole.)
-Corner near two garbage cans
Now the rest of the maps and its approachable places are up to you to figure out. However, make sure you know that they are GOOD places to hide and no horrible places that will get you sniped out.
Knowing your environments will allow you to do many things such as;
-Reloading in safe places
-Reloading in action
-Sniper killing
-Facing double team
-Know where your opponents are
-Knowing where to guard
Now this is very important because if you don't know your enviroment very well, then you will get yourself killed.
I have been in a situation where I had to take out three people in an alleyway. Now surely, you would think I would get owned before I killed any of them. However, this didn't happen.
I hid behind the corner and surpised them, taking out two before I was finally sniped down.
If I knew the map better maybe I would of taken all three of them out with ease, however I could not. (That's why you take up sniping. Check out my sniper guide)
Adapting to your environment means alot to a rifle.
Heres what you need to know about each map.
-Where is a good place to reload in battle
-Where can I use a flashbang effectively
-Blending into your enviroment on any map
-Finding a hiding place
As long as you can do four of these, you will have a 80% chance of winning your battle.
Defending
Defending your territory is a very big one. Defense means that you need to learn to camp, being patient, finding places to penetrates, and doing what your enemy does not expect you to do.
Defending also means you need to know which places your enemies are coming through. Here is the deal for each map.
There are special tips and tricks for you to use in order to hit someone from far away but I will save that for later.
Shanghai
Guarding your submarine with a rifle means that you cannot take out enemies at far range very well (I will get to this later). So you need to find new places to guard.
Now there are four places in Shanghai map where a Sniper can take you out. You must guard these places.
1 The warehouse in front of the Dock
2 Behind the crates upon the Dock.
3 At your Spawn point.
4 Behind warehouse door or Box.
If you let a sniper get that close to you without noticing them, I suggest you don't use a rifle and use a sniper. If you do see your opponents at any of the situation above, you can either sneak around and kill them, or launch a flashbang and then a couple of grenades to take them out.
There are a couple of places where you can guard the sub as well.
1 Near the dock next to the closest box to the left.
2 Inside of the warehouse, waiting to ambush people.
3 Behind the huge steel garbage boxes.
4 A corner next to your spawn so when you opponents come through, you can automatically shoot them down.
5 Ontop the sub itself.
6 Behind the door of the warehouse in front of the docks.
Hospital
In Hospital Map, there are only three places your opponents will most likely come through.
1Windows to DNA room
2Underground tunnel(brown)
3First floor.
There's not many places you can guard. Try to hide behind these:
Boxes
Line of Chairs on first floor.
Behind door of DNA lab for surprise attack.
Counters
Windows(Kind of hard for rifles. Try taking up sniper for this)
And this is pretty much it. If you opponent steals the DNA, you need to go back and guard either through the little doorway, the two garbage cans, or any corner.
Desert Camp
In desert camp, the opponent tries to bomb your truck. Here's where they come through.
Tank post to left
Watch out for the stairs
Corner around truck
Underground passageway
Tank post to right
Passage leading to it
Behind the beams
This is pretty much it. You must try to hide behind the available boxes that are provided for you, or finding a corner to camp at.
The rooftop in the middle of the map is a good place to take out anyone who wants to
I can't post any more characters. Please check the original topic on ijjiplay if you want the complete and updated versions.

Knowing your environments will allow you to do many things such as;
-Reloading in safe places
The rooftop in the middle of the map is a good place to take out anyone who wants to
  i think you forgot one place to defend the hospital
and that is you must defend the main floor/entrance at all costs as they can be used to go up stairs/get into garage B
