Tailing missions too boring?

Do any of you out there think the tailing missions are way too boring?

First off, the car you're supposed to tail drives like a grandma on her way to church (not being offensive or anything though lol :o ). They go like 50 miles per hour and it takes FOREVER to get to the destination. Seriously, if they're going to make more tailing missions, they should make the car you're supposed to tail do 100+ MPH, or AT LEAST 75 MPH.

Anyone agree?

LOL I was laughing hard after tailing Yooki in one of the later missions of the 2nd city Koinomia or something like that. After you beat that mission Yooki says, "I'm hard to follow!" and I'm like "WTF!" she was driving only 45 miles per hour on the Royal Bridge and made no turns at all. EASIEST ONE TO FOLLOW!!! lol :=p:

It's not like the missions take more then 2 minutes to finish and there aren't a lot of them so whats the problem?

Nah, it lets you see what those signs and billboards actually say.

nope sometimes you mess up by going too fast and ram the HUV or some guy comes behind and hits you right in the kisser and you mess up x.x

All the ones I have had go 61 mph.....
And yes, that's exactly how fast they go for me, didn't just pull a random number out of my a** for that one.

The trailing missions are annoying, but it's kinda nice. It's the one time you aren't forced to go 150mph wiping around corners or anything. Just nice and slow, leisurely pace. Appreciate some of the awesome things to see in the various towns of Mittron Island.

Yeah, they suck like crap. But you can see their destination if you pull up the full city map and look at the 'Q' sign. So you have something to expect at least...

Yes, they are very boring, but still, a nice change.
What I really hate about them is that sometimes the walkie talkie is all "THAT'S IT, FOLLOW THEM" but you can't move until you press spacebar, so you FAIL after 2 seconds.

thats happened to me too. Or you are facing the wrong way, and by the time you turn around and try to catch up, you loose.

What really is annoying, (happened to me) is if you hit that point in your gas tank when they constantly announce that "you are low on mittron please refill" while you are on the tailing mission. I was doing that really long one in the 4th station of koinia, not tailing yooki, but the other one. If it wasn't such a long one, I would have failed it just to not listen to that....

Just out of curiosity, has anyone ever failed by being too close? Do they give you the 9 seconds to back off?

i prefer high speed so i just try to reach the place first with out passing that granny speed car.

well.... they are the most boring things i've ever completed and perhaps the most exciting thing i've ever completed too.

for the boring:
it drives at a steady 70miles/hr!!!!!! and i'm trying to drive at 170miles/hr with my eric.
for the exciting:
has anyone ever tailed yooki? she's good. especially the u-turn part.

Holy, delis are more boring. Try doing 200 a day. I gurantee, you can fall asleep within 3-10 delis.

Try doing tailing missions backwards.

Anyway, tailing missions are almost as boring as deliveries, with the HUVs driving so damn slowly. MAKE THEM GO FASTER!!!!

I would like more of a challenge, when I'm doing tailing missions. How about giving them a section when they randomly boost or perhaps switching into a HUV chase if you get to close.

They could be a whole lot better...

Those missions along with the ambush (waiting) missions are money in the bank, basically u can put your four year old sister driving without any worries xD

Trailing missions are stupid, like what someone said, the suspect you are trailing will go this way go that way go this way when they can just use that short way to reach their destination. It seriously wastes your time especially the speed the suspects are going at... 10 mph 20 mph? 30 mph? 40 mph? 50 mph? Snail MPH? Why cant they go faster <_<
