Hello my name is han hyong.i was ranked 3rd world wide overall in Initial D Time Attacks. and i realized from playing drift city, there are allot of similaritys in both games.

i Currently own v5 unlimited/ v4 cooper. i played over 1,000 races on my accounts.
i once was a newb, i learned everything on my own from scratch.went threw allot of suffer and pain. but once i got the hang of the game everything was lift off and good to go. everything seems so EZ. somtimes when i enter battles with my league i get very upset. that over 99% are horrible players. only 1% of the population is decent skilled drivers that know what they are doing. the best tip i can give you out there if you want to win! - less or no mistakes you will win. for example entered my v2 panada into v2-5 league then played a few rounds, and noticed that dosen't matter how good your car is, it all depends on how good you with no crashes and clashes. and yes i made people leave in embarrsment as soon as the people with v5's found out they got beaten pretty badly by a v2. its all in the hands baby ;p. i realized that you will never become a decent or skilled driver in your life time unless you get the right basics down.

back when i was a newb still with my v2 i had problem that no one would answer." i kept asking my self over and over again if i was doing my drifts right!" cuzz it looked different when other people drifted on thiers. but later i discovered somthing from that question that unlocked the secret to my sucessful winning streak. i kept winning and winning and so on that i have so much gold i even maxxed out my other accounts with the best parts and even bought my spoilers/wheel and still have money left over!!!

now if you have question like"how to drift without crashing on those really really hard turns where everyone crashes" and "i really like fast cars but i suk in drifting what car/item should i buy?"and ect. thats why am here to help you any time with private lessons by in game with me!, i will personally train the first 2 people who reply on this thread OR private message. be serious and make sure to add

There's not much to teach about drifting in this game. Timing and controlling your drifts well comes from experience...it's not something that's readily taught..

Hi. Well i play Initiald3 too. My drirfting problem is that something i will crash when i drift out a corner as those cars are blocking my inner line. Well, i can be good in the beginning cuz everyone else isnt as good,:doh:
but i can see lots more good players now.
i guess my greatest weakness is turns, where everyone closes in on me.

So you're ranked third in the worldwide Initial D time attacks. Right. And the only similarity between that and this is probably sliding your car around. Initial D has actual drifting while Drift City is more like powersliding, despite the name. Also, something tells me the physics engine in both games are really different from each other. Also, races aren't completely about skill. Someone at the back might just get lucky and get a good enough powerup to speed past everyone.

@shudong It`s obvious that you rarely find good players in rookie arena. Go to star/superstar, there are the true geniuses. None of the pro`s can play in rookie arena because of lvl restrictions and usually don`t drive <v6 for pro arena(they most likely would be still kicked because of their lvl and get less exp/mito).
Most(i said most not all) of the really skilled drivers are at least 50+.
