Hey, umm I dont understand what books are in this game...what do they do? And what u mean by INT and ADV books? Do they give u skills or what? Please Answer This. Thnx. =] :doh:

Suppose your a swordman
At start of game your only able to use Bamboo sword. To be able to use Bronze sword you need sword skill level 5. Theres 2 ways of leveling your skill level, using swords will level it but skill books instantly grow it a level. Your only able to use 10 Beginner, 10 Intermediate, and 10 Advance skill books after that you cant use anymore. So only way after that is by using the weapon. To make it where you cant just be good at all weapon types you have skill points. You get 1 skill point till level 30 (not sure if you get more skill points but probably do). Each time you use a skill book it takes 1 skill point away.

a skill that you gotta learn
your proficiency in any type of job in the game is determined by your skill level
each skill can have a max of 100. of the 100, you can learn 30 by reading books. the remaining 70, you have to gain as experience skill pts
as for reading books, you can read BGN books UP TO level 10 only. INT up to 20 and ADV up to 30. take note that the term is UP TO so you can actually read 30 ADV books instead of 10 BGN, 10 INT and 10 ADV. of course, this will mean it will cost more since ADV books are more expensive

do we find books or do we get them automatically and there are different books for dif jobs rite also, if we have no skill points and use a book...will it take away a skill point?

Books are dropped by monsters and gotten from a few quest.
Every skill in the game has a book to go along with it.
You are given 1 skill point a level. They allow you to read a book of any level (BGN, INT or ADV). You cannot use a book if you do not have a skill point.

Oh my. This guy needs some help.
Well, dictionary.com gave me: "a written or printed work of fiction or nonfiction, usually on sheets of paper fastened or bound together within covers." but that doesn't cover it very well.
You should visit a library and read some of the objects in there. Books are quite fascinating once you give it a try.
