Hello out there gunz fanz!!! Thats if we still have any because of the damn hackers:ranting: omg lol:xd: ...but anyway...Been playing this game for quite a while now and wanted to learn the k-style.
I having a problem trying to get it down. I can butterfly, sword fly around the place and good dodging skillz but my pinky finger cant guard for me to be able to pull of the slash shot.
If anyone has any tips or ideas to this lil situation plz fill free to help me out cause i know its going to take some in game training.
Why do you need ur pinky anyway? in slash shot u dont need to block, its just jump slash switch shoot

well i was reading some of the instructions off that k-style post from the gunzfactor website that someone had copy and maybe i had misread it. Yea thats what i did sry my fault.Well still i would like to know how ppl butterfly so fast.

well, it depends i would say...im an active gunz player for about one year now (with a lil break of 3 month^^ --->school) and i'm not that fast.
there are lots of factors influencing ur speed: skills, hardware (mouse, keyboard) and so on...
u also need to find the keyboard setting which is best for u. me, i used to block with shift (default), now i changed it to mouse 3 (pressing wheel). with this configuration im much faster, just needa get used to switch into hs and stuff...imma get it to work someday ^^
train a lot, get used to the moves and the buttons u need to press...and then practice.

hmm....the mouse wheel?Now that i think of it yea it would kinda make it alot easier because i've always used the default keys and was like well f**k it i'll just find a way to prevent getting k-style and ive also notice that the female characters or better yet the women in general can do that a hell of alot better. Thx for the idea tho. Wish i could find a traininer or a friend in game so i could practice cause just flying around atking objects and those goblins are not cuttin it lol.

Alright cool. Just let me know when and ill catch up with you better yet if you have x-fire look up s0urce500 (the o is a zero in case you didnt know). Oh yea one more thing i tried the mouse wheel and.......that didnt work out to well lol..

I practiced Bf with block button as E using index finger. Its pretty good to learn fast bf if you are not used to using your pinky and if you havnt gotten used to switching weapons with the default E. But the disadvantage is that you wont be able to moove smoothly to the right, so I just decided to learn it the hard way with the pinky, which after getting used to the E as defence was even more bizzare for my fingers.
only practise makes perfect.
Forget bf, that's the last thing you need, bf spamming is nothing against rs, even noobs can aboid bf, u dont need that kind of speed for bf, bf is usefull only when out of ammo, yet i like dbf the most, more accurate, not faster movements yet faster slashes, and u can easily combine it with lots of different combos according to opponents reaction, bf was the 1st move i learned, took a lot of time to master the uber speed of it, now i think to myself: waste of time. Its pretty to see, but that's all.

ok i learn the bf i was like wow thats simple the dbf never known of such a thing or maybe i just dont read the forums enough oh well but most of the ppl i have face have like have this incredible amount of speed going on when it comes to butterflying or maybe im seeing the dbf but damn i cant imagine a person fingers moving that fast. At first i thought it was marcos but i was no cant be but idk.

bf is good for closed spaces, all others it basically fails [if not used right or one made a mistake]

No... Most of the people actually do it by themselves. Macro bfing actually is very slow.

Butterfly is one of the basics of k-style and one of the basics to learn. RS without aiming is worse than constantly bfing.
When you learn bf, you will get the 'flow' of k-styling and can help you learn other techiques faster. You can use bf for combinations of techniques/moves to make your plays better.

im pretty good at k-style. My bf is faster than a lot of ppl. I still dont know how to dbf. I dont try to do it very often though lol. So i guess i can help some ppls learn k style.
Btw i know bf hs ss wall cancel and maybe a few more things but i dont name the moves very often so i cant really name em all.

k im looking at gunz factor right now so i can tell u all the moves i know
wall-canceling, multiple wall run (i dont do very often so im not the best), light step, butterfly step, hs, ss, wall post, quick medding, I guess i can also do air-reload but depends on maps, and slash medding but i dont use slash medding very often.

use default settings. imo, it's the best.
i dun think bf is useless. i move around with bf =P just in case something suddenly pops out from thin air
I'm with nerdzo on this one. I just use the default keys, with the except of my reload key. It's still set to r, but I set it alternately to one of my mouse buttons, (yeah, my mouse has 4 buttons and a scroll wheel, woot >.<) to help me with my reload shot.
