Should there be more items/weps. and armor for non premium users

ok ijji should get more items wepons or armor for non premium users. searously its like when ur strong like 30+ most ppl by then have prems and u dont so u are kind of disadvanteged guz they have better armor better wepons and better items for example the premium meds. they can carry 10
but u need to be lvl 40 just to carry 8 and like the sword that has the burn effect or the electric effect you just have a disadvantage.:no: :( :cry: :busted:

...uh...I'd say you're in dire need of learning about prems. There is no sword with a burn effect or electric effect. You can enchant whatever sword you have equipped to have it, but frankly I have yet to see the point. It really doesn't seem to make much of a difference; and I know I've already killed one particular phantom-breed user wielding enchanted kodachi six times, and I don't have any enchantments on the Karma.

Also, the swords are arguably the one premmy piece that really doesn't make much of a difference. If you're good with a sword, it shouldn't make too much a difference. Also, the premium weapons themselves are just a slight edge. Usually lasting only one or two regular bounty weapons before they're obsolete. Honestly, all you have to do is be a little more careful when fighting them, or avoid them if you can help it :/

New weapons would be nice, but I believe Maiet has already said that they wouldn't add them.

Uh, they already have that. The best armor available at level 20 will give you more AP than the premium armors, available at level 15 (those available now, and barring the latest heavy prems, which MAY give just enough AP bonus). In fact, the only advantage the lvl 15 premiums have over lvl 20 armor right now, is the HP bonus. I should know, I debated trading in Eternal Blue for the regular lvl 20 armor.

I get on my level 36 boy (No premiums) and own level 50's with premiums. It doesn't matter what clothes they have, only skill counts. :wink: Even though I have premiums, I don't really need them, I only buy them 'cause they look cool, and to help ijji. :)

Well, first of all, 100% of all non-prem users don't have premium gear. That's what makes them non-prem users. Second, I don't think they're going to jump ship just because they don't get sparkly new armor. Evidence enough is the fact that Gunz actually seems to be growing in popularity rather than becoming less popular. And, as has been pointed out repeatedly, the premiums only give a slight edge (and spiffier looking gear). If you're any good, and remember to be cautious when dealing with them, regular gear users can take out a premmy user.

Yeah, but sponsors don't make their quick cash off of non premium users.

You're only there so ijji can tell advertisers they have more people going to their site.

I played igunz since it was released. I spent my time focusing on skill, not how sexy I looked in my gear.
I never once thought "wow this game play would be severely improved with more bounty items!"

Think about it.

If they made higher level items, it would create to big of a gap between player levels.
All of the bounty items are pretty well balanced.
I use to think maiet just threw numbers out, but after over 2 years of igunz, I've come to realize how well maiet has balanced them. I've spent so much time working on getting the maxmium ap for my weight.
Believe it or not, GunZ is fun for it's gameplay too! It's not just about how your character looks! (as I will explain, more bounty items would help RUIN the game play.)

Adding higher level bounty items would ruin this balance, as I said, it would create a large gap between players levels. Somebody in the level 10 gear already has some troubles killing a level 20 gear wearer, now pit them up against an even higher level gear wearer in a clan war? No contest.

If MAIET added bounty items that did not have improved stats, just different outfits, that would ruin the point of premiums. Premiums are made so you can get a more unique look. You aren't all dull and boring like the bounty items.

Also, this would ruin the premiums they have right now, unless they beefed up their stats. (And we don't need more stat beefing. It's hard enough to kill a lagger, now give him more ap?)


As you can see, this is why MAIET should not worry about adding bounty items.
