What actually happens when you have no fuel

I've heard so many stories about people running out of fuel...

I've heard that you are teleported to the nearest station.
I've heard your parts get destroyed.
and I've heard that you can't go over 93MPH till you refuel.

It's all getting a little confusing on what to believe, so I came here to ask you, what actually does happen when you run out of fuel? :confused:

You cannot gain combos or move faster than 93mph even with a boost. My friend tested it on his car right in front of me heh.

You dont get teleported or anything ad your parts arent destroyed. You just go slower and cant get combos and boost doesnt make you go faster.

I hate how that pop up sticks when racing and you have no fuel...I sometimes accidentally hit the space button and another valuable 300L bottle goes to waste. T.T
