Actually, I have played a game with a marriage system. Well two games really, Eudemons, and Conquer Online. Married to my fiancee on both. I know some people are annoying about it and spam to get wives/husbands, but you can ignore them patience is virtue. :p

Yeah, they do go way too far with this stuff and forget the fact that it's just a game. But it depends on what the marriage system actually is. Say for instance, Conquer Online. That has a marriage system that has other advantages other than being married, if you leveled with your in game spouse you would earn more exp, it would help in plvling/farming. It wasn't just about "LOLOLOLOL OH YEAH E-LOVARS LETS GO AFK AND CYBER ;D;D;D <333333333". I haven't played a game where it was just "being married" so I guess I haven't suffered the full extent of annoyance from desperate spam for marriage.

But ************-deprived kids do ruin it for ya. xD

My stance on the whole marriage thing is that there really shouldn't be anything like that. It leads to many scams and trust issues. Other than that, though, I would definitely support in-game marriages. It sort of spices up the game in a way.

LOL. Look at the first ever post in this thread genius, which started all this off. Seeing as when the question was asked we didn't know anything about the game, yeah logic ftw. =) It wasn't neccesarily a suggestion to change things or we'd be all "we should all contact Global and suggest for a marriage system =OOO!" it's just something that we'd like since we've experienced it before and we shared it. Obviously worked since we weren't the only ones that agreed to it so you should really quit running your gums around and stop making yourself look like a fool. =)
