So iv always been attracted to the thought of using bowmen in games like this. I have been reading reviews and people are saying it would be hard to start out with. Is that fact or fiction.

no, they r wrong.
bow is the cheapest weaponin the game,and its very good at pvpand hunting higher lvl monsters.
the only bad thing about bowman is that they have to buy arrows,but its really cheap believe me

bow is cheap but in the new server = no arrows so it will cost alot for a while

guns need bullets too tho
u can actually make bullets and arrow while hunting monsters xD.and they r soooooo cheap to do........

Yah, but gun 1-hits more, so need less bullets than arrows, also because bow shoot fast, you get hungry faster. Bow is a good option though, I think the problem is bookss for gun, because you get a Sword book, a Bow book, and aCane book from the 1st Quest. so Gun would be hard (Ithink, not sure).
hope the people (manufacturers) arent going to sell weapons for 1000000s of marbles :D, that would be gay ofcourse.

look, bow-lower attack, more speed
gun-higher attack, lower speed
in case you got master grade bow it is much better then gun... but if gun and bow got master grade then gun win... gun get more attack, 1 hit kill while bow need 2.. so it's speed/power...
i am not so sure which is better.. bow much much cheaper cuz lower attack... so if you want save money make bow.. if you want high attack choose gun

Same, I go for sword/gunn/capper in my firs char =D.
Bow cost alot of money for food's (not that they cost alot), and arrows.
See it like this: A gun shoots twice in 4 seconds (for example, not like Im gonna stopwatch it),
so it costs 40 marbles in 4 seconds, and you have the monster dead after about 3-4 shots.
A bow costs 4 sec about 4 shots, wich is about 4x17 marbles (68 I think), and you need about 6-7 shots.. So you dont actaully kill afster, killing speed is the same, unless you are high lvl and you 1-hit the mobs its easier to hunt, but with a gun you can 1-hit stronger mobs so its easier with a gun to hunt high lvles.
I want a pure gun char, but thats virtually impossible in this new game, so thts why I use sword till lvl 10-20 and then start Gunning =) <3.

Of course the killing speed of a bow is going to be the same as a gun. xD They're pretty evened out. But hey I can't really argue against that, I've never played GoonZu before. I was hoping to make a bowman and see what I can make out of it as a high level. Kinda put off now. >.>
No matter what though, I'm gonna see mages around and be jealous as fawk so maybe I'll just work on my dex and luck and make stuff for a while until I have enough financial support to build a mage. O.o
Edit: Nvm I've figured out what I'm doing. xD
