Dear Devoted Luminary Fans:

We have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that at 3pm Pacific time, you'll be able to download and install Luminary. :) The bad news is that because of the network problems we've been experiencing (see the announcements for other ijji games to find out more information), we cannot open Luminary. The game itself is ready to go, but it would experience the same problems as some of our other games and would cause too much strain on the network.

Currently, we are scheduled to open the game next Wednesday, October 24. We are sincerely disappointed that we cannot bring you this great game today, but we hope to be able to stick to this schedule and open next week. In the meantime, we hope that providing you with the download will help make up for this delay.

Sincerely,

ijji Staff

Lol only Vash man...:D

But still this can actually BE a good thing. I know I don't want to have problems like the last KwonHo CB thats for sure. I know I was really hyped for the game coming out today... but im okay with waiting just a little bit more. As long as its all in good shape. Thanks!

Dear GMs:

Thank you for keeping us updated. Although it is rather discouraging to have the game be pushed back for so long, it's nice that you all are keeping us in the know. But I would suggest for future games that we be kept in the dark, and have the game announced and opened only when it is absolutely ready to be opened. That way there would be less of a decline in players due to the unsatisfaction they may experience. Don't get me wrong -- I realize the intentions were good, and you all were simply trying to get us excited about the new game, but these sort of events tend to make emotions run high in most people. Hence, I wouldn't mind being kept in the dark about a new game until it's almost ready, if not totally ready, to be opened. Besides, if nobody knows about the game yet, then there's no rush to have the game opened, and therefore you guys can take more time to fully develop it.

I personally don't have any hard feelings towards ijji. I came here a year ago when Gunbound was brought over, and have been here ever since. And during my stay here, I must say I am impressed with what you have to offer. Now granted there were some ups and downs that I experienced, but I always found a way around it i.e. by playing a different game and/or minigames. But overall I am satisfied with what I have seen, and look foward to more exciting things from the pipeline.

In conclusion, I'd just like to point out that sometimes keeping us in the dark is a good thing. (Unless of course you guys have a corporate deadline or something, but that's a different story.) That's just my 2-cents on what I think would be the best course of action to keep the remaining players that are still loyal. Because there are quite a few of us, myself included, who won't be leaving anytime soon. I just hope we could keep more, and achieve and/or break the player record we had not too long ago.

Thanks again, and sorry for any inconveniences that I may have caused.

PS: I share the same mentality as vi3thustla in his/her thread "Since the delay."

Sincerely,
FairysCloud
