? about town sorting

So how does the town sorting work, do you just pick a town to live in? Or are you sorted automatically? and even if you choose to live in a town, can you move?

you can be a resident in a town own by real players, you must regester at a town
In the beggining you spawn at hangyang, you don't have to live in a town and yes you can move
