I think this instalation corupted my .dll files

After installing goonzu last night, i went to bed...

When I woke up this morning none of my desktop icons were working properly. you can't see the images, they all have the image you get when a picture can't load or a file doesn't have a default program to open with.

I've also installed Xfire in the past few days, but I haven't visted any "questionable" websites so I can only think that this game caused some issues.

I used system restore and that did nothing, I also made some basic trouble shooting but i still can't get the images corrected. Furthermore; I searched microsoft and couldn't find anything to help.

Does anyone know a way to fix the icons? I've managed to fix most of the stuff but files that have a global/system function are still broken: ie icons, folder icons, drive icons, and some other stuff.

I'm at my limit of computer repair skills.

Hmmm im not really this good with things like this but try reinstalling your ijji files might help games and then you might be unlucky and have to repair them most games should now how have a repair installation for gamers hopefully your problem might be solved.

Do you have a firewall, do any other people use the computer, if you dont have a firewall or the computer is shared, it's possible that someone else got it infected or screwed around with it. Try going to "My Computer" in the start menu, then click the "Folders" button in that explorer window, and try navigating directories there, also try entering the directory into the address bar in the explorer window, if that works then make sure to scan the computer for any viruses and the like, and look on the internet for more help.
