i had this problem after i dowloaded the nvidia driver from ijji.
if u have an alternate driver that came with your pc then use that 1.
it probably said that,,, this driver is lower then the one u already have.
so just redownload ur old driver.

Ok people, i may have found a possible solution.
1) Update ur graphic card... (If u have standard card from ex. Intel it wont work anyway forget this)
2) There is something with Play Live button on main page.. Go to 'help' section and click Play Live over there...

If this doesn't work to bad, it did for me :)

Probably the best option for all of you is to use System Restoreand revert back a few days before this incident happened. If you can't remember when it happened, try the month before or any months before that. I myself had to use System Restore, but it will bring back any deleted files/images/etc. from within that time period (eg: May 4-19, 2005). Good luck to all who try this!

hi, i had the same problem, what fixed it for me was to go to start-control panel-display-settings-advanced-troubleshoot. I moved the hardware acceleration slider to halfway. then i clicked ok and tried sf and it worked ok. hope this helps

I fixed the problem for me.
After restoring computer and this problem accured to me my dad then installed Service Pack 2 because wen u restore it goes back to SP1. Now SF is working perfectly.

Its gonna be harsh but..

The reason why it says Can not Run instants of Soldier Front (2)

When u do system restore there are 2 choices

Destructive

And

Put all files on a backup drive [a folder]

I did backup and i had this problem

I did system restore Destructive and it works

I hope this helped but it is a big step to take

I reformatted as well, and now get this error. I don't understand how you can have an error for >3 months and not fix it. This just makes no sense. Are you actually working on it or has it just been pushed under the rug? I am not being difficult here, I really do want to know how a single error, experienced by so many, for so long, could possibly take this long to fix. I had another thought. There have been multiple updates during this time. Several maps were added, as well as several guns. Why hasn't this issue been addressed in the updates? I have the same problem but it says cannot run milteple instants of soldier front (4), yes with a (4) no a (2). I have this problem since i change my monitor. I try all: ctrl-alt-del, I desinstall the game and install again, and nothing work. Please fix this, I want to play.

I think that I found the way how to fix this problem.

-Go in My Computer
-Configuration panel
-Display
-Parameters
-Advanced
-Fix the material acceleration to complete (find it in one of the sections)
-Restart your computer.

It should work because it worked great for me. Hope I helped.

Okay Fellas and Ladies, the solution is found:

May be the most stupidest thing you heard, but it works. And it is going to work for everyone else computers. Hopefully, lol. Just keep clicking Play Live until the screen pops up in the multi-bar task thing below on your screen. What is that? the thing that has the Start and all those icons on the bottom right corner, sorry don't know what it is call. Multi-tasker or whatever. But just click Play Live, and when the error pops up, redo it over and over, until the Gaming screen shows up on the multi-task. Interesting? Yes, but it worked, and have I tried it yet? Nah, just saw my cuzzo did it. So it's going to bound to work. If it doesn't, just means you need to stop playing video games and start thinking about doing more productive things to helping someone else. Good luck.

Yeah its a weird error since i played yesterday SF and like one hour later i wanted to play again this error came up! multiple intsants of sf(2) while i dont got several SF.exe running i used taskmgr and killed one process soldierfront.exe didnt work. then i tried to kill another process U_SF didnt work either yeah it did work for a bit since i didnt get the error message but the game didnt load since it's the main exe file i think. Further i monitored my cpu and saw there were 2 ijjistarter.exe running maybe that cause the problem. but when i kill one process of them it says something about neccesary files or something

So is there a solution yet? please let me know! :thumbsup:

I think I found a solution. This worked for me at least. When I downloaded the graphics card driver on ijji, this message appeared. Then I searched for the newest graphics driver and downloaded it. Once it was installed, SF worked perfectly. Hope this helps=)

I think I found a solution. This worked for me at least. When I downloaded the graphics card driver on ijji, this message appeared. Then I searched for the newest graphics driver and downloaded it. Once it was installed, SF worked perfectly. Hope this helps=)

I know how to fix the bug on the Multiple Instants of Soldier Front are running (2).

right click on their desktop and click on properties. Then go to Settings > Advanced And find the TroubleShoot Tab. Tell them to slide the bar to full and to enable write combining.
