Crash After Host Presses Start [Active]

i have this problem. its somethin with the latest game update. after i dl it from the site i tried playing, as soon as the host started the game my game crashed. i figured something just got meseted up. i tried to uninstall it so i could reinstall it and hopefully it would work. when i click uninstall on add/remove programs it says its not there and may have already been removed. but when i go to the folder its all still there. plus there is no uninstaller there. so i have a game that i cant uninstall or play. i need help on this gm please private message me or post or what ever it takes to get this straightend out this is no good:busted: :mad: :no:

Maybe it has something to do with the Window to full screen thing. Even though now both screens are full screen.

BTW, once the host presses start and the game crashes, the internet also ceases to work, at which time i have to restart the computer...

It happens to me whenever I try to play on any other resolution than the default one.

Awkward circumstances, I know, but it's the only thing that does it.

Just a theory, but it could be that the host presses ready as soon as the last person presses ready (simultaneously) or if someone "unreadys" exactly at the same time that the host presses play.

This happened once to me and a friend.

Well I tried what Niceblankie said above, it worked for about 2 games or so. I was having problems with large games, 0/16 pretty much and everything else was perfectly O.K. I just started having problems now, that I cant play any of it without getting disconnected at the opening screen - before the shooting and stuff part like mentioned by someone else in the thread. I hope you guys can get this worked out, I wish to play again.

Edit: Right before the actual playing, it will disconnect me and it says "soldierfront.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" Also it will say, "Connection lost with server" - My ISP is reliable and this never happened in any other Ijji game or MMO. :cry: Hope someone can help us out.

its not his because it happened to me four times in a row even after i reinstalled...i play in a game normally and after a while it freezes and i have to turn off comp inproperly to get anything working agin....

Solution = Turn off the firewall for 4 hours and then u can play sf w/o it being crashed the host starts game.

i do belive it has somthing to do with the ups date everytime i say its got to do with gamegarud update they close the thread? i had no problems until this update could someone shed some light? everytime i press live it does the gamegarud scan pauses for a bit then eroor come up about

theres a simple solution... these problems started happening after the latest update... so all Ijji needs to do is recall the update.. fix the flawed programming (apparently this happens quite often) and do the update again..

of course knowing the lazy turds that run gamin sites like these, they'll probably ignore the issue and try and cover it up without doing anything to fix it...

if they're like maeit they'll do that...

maybe we'll get lucky. but i for one have no faith in any of em. not after what happened between me and Jagex.... stupid POS Jagex... they'll all burn in hell. :mad:

Eureka!!!!!!!!! i found the solution!!!!!!!!

Ok First You turn off all firewalls/yahoo messenger/Aim/X-fire and etc...
Then after your first game get out of the room and join another room then there you can play now!!!!!

Whne loading up the game i click start and then it loads Game guard then when the game is just about to pop up a little error box shows with symbles that i cant read and that are unknow to me and i click ok and it closes out the game

OMG GUYS I FOUND THE SOLUTION TO THE CRASHING PROBLEM ALL U HAVE TO DO IS GO TO SCREEN RESOLUTION IN THE OPTION AND PUT THE LAST ONE I DID AD I PLAYED 6 GAMES WITHOUT CRASHING :D :clap: TRY IT AND I HOPE IT WORKS FOR U GUYS

OK I'm New To The Gme Played for two days before this also started happening to me, i read all the post and nothing, not even a reply from a gm.just to see if this has happend to anyone else to see if it really is the game. when i first started playing the game everything worked great it played good no lag or nothing perfect. a few hour later i started playing again and it lagged alittle, i mean it still was ok so i didnt mind the lil lagging. the next day i started playing again and it lagged badly to the point when i finished the mission i had toe wait like 5 mins to get back to the server list. after a few hours i check if any programs on my compuer may have cause this. didnt find nothing i close any big programs that i had running and still lagged bad. today i started playing the game and it work great right untill the mission started the moment i press start the game just closed, no error signs no nothing. i trying the game again over and over agian and still kept happening. then after a while i tried talking to people in game on the chat and now ever time i type something and press enter all that shows in the chat is "*** ** ****", can anyone explain whats going on. Can The Gm Please read this and try helping me, more the less Everyone having this problem. I read this in the forums somewhere i forgot where The guy said to put the config to defualt to make game work i did that and the game worked no more crashing :D Well sometimes i get the time error thing but the next time i press play live it works

This is almost exactly what happens to me, but what really happens is, when everyone is loaded, the game freezes. And sometimes, it lets me play for a round or 2 before it freezes. Do you think you could fix that again? Thanx.

This happend to me as well, one day i decided to randomly change my reso for the fun of it, then i started crashing ( even when i started my own training room !) so then i changed the reso to wat it was before, and it worked perfectly, this even happened to my friend btw

This happened on my cousin's Laptop. I played with the configuration... For some reason, the game renderer (d3d8.dll) jumped to d3d9.dll [Not supported on some service packs]. I recommend getting the newest updates for your computer; DO NOT USE CUSTOM THEMES WHILE PLAYING SOLDIER FRONT (leads to crash). Run some system diagnostics and see if you get any major errors; having to do with Audio, Movie and bus drivers. You can check your drivers on the spot by going to: Start > Right Click "My Computer" > Manage > Device Manager. If you see any Yellow Question Marks it means there is an error. Either update the driver automatically or Search for the required drivers. If you need help PM me.

If you get the error when everyone loads in game, its your game renderer jumping back to d3d8.dll.

This Used To Happen To Me. The Way I Fixed It Was Went And Played In A Different Server (Instead of Danger Zone Go To Frontline) For A Few Matches check if it works. then after that go back to the server u were having problems in and know it should work =] +Rep Me If I Helped =D

mine will take me into the game but i cant move or anything, like the gam is running on top but not the selected program? i can see everything fine, but cant move or look around. My laptop never does this, but my desktop does it every other game.:(
