Whats a mentor?
A person in game, that help's the newer players, and sometimes provides weapons / ammo / gold / potions.
Why be a mentor?
You get reputation for it, and you get to learn some nice new players.
Recommender: What? and how?
Before you start the game, you can pick someone to be your recommender. (for example a friend that told you: Omg you really have to play this game, its awesome.. check www.ijji.com etcetc). Then you fill in his name, and he is your Recommender. (after you create your first character, you can fill in the name.
why be a recommender?
Because you get loads and loads of expensive stuff out of it.
It gives you Recomender points, with wich you can buy alot (Vixen: Sort of horse, but faster and gives +more stats, teleport tickets, etc).
Also you get fire-water-earth etc stones to upp your weapons with it.
Don't just be picking random Recommendee;s, pick one that actually gives you something in return, or dont pick one at all.
In the other hand, you do give them profit, but they give the world of Luminary profit, with tele tickets, Vixens and lot's of other stuffs. Be sure, to if you want to pick a recommender, to make sure that he gives you something in return, such as 100k every 10 lvls from lvl 20, and some starter weapon.
The reason I post this?
I dont want noobies to get ripped off, or other people gettnig boasted way more than me =).
Also some other things:
In the beginning it will be hard to get other weapons than Sword, so pick a recommender that can provide you with the weapon you want, the books for them, and the ammonution.
DONT read all books you get in the beginning!!.
This is a waste of points. choose 1 weapon and use that, and read only those books.

I used to let alot people recommend me, and they all thank me for that since I gave them:
Weapon they wanted at lvl 1, + 10 BGN books, 100 weak potions, and a lvl 10 weapon.
Then I gave them 100k at lvl 20, 200k at lvl 30, 300k at lvl 40, and a horse at lvl 55.
I think I would do the same here, but not in the beginning since it is hard to get a horse early on in the game, or when I have 10 recommenders I will not be able to pay them all 100k when they reach lvl 20.
Also I'll give you all info you need, and best stats for the weapon you want (wich you can easily find).
