There are a few tricks to make money in this game.
Easy way: Put someone as recommender. Most recommenders give you cash when you reach lvl 20-30-40-50 etc.
some Tricks for if you play alot (not AFK, Ill tell tricks for that later)
Hunt for books [BGN], to lvl from 1 to 10. then you can make [INT] books out of these.
Players will need these alot, for all kinds (bow, sword, gun, axe, spear, cane, capture, mine, fish, so they probably will sell fast too!
In the first quest, someone will explain were to find what monsters drop books (and wich kind), and they also say were you can find these monsters. Just kill them and collect the books.
Hunt for materials, (for example 250 coppers) then sell them, easy money.
You can also use these materials to manufacture items, as in lvl 20 swords/spears/guns etc. These will also be sold fast, and expensive, Since matts are hard to find, and not everyone can manufacture.
Capture skill, you need to read some capture books, after doing so, you sometimes get Doll's when you kill monsters. These dolls are for in Hunting grounds in Towns (to supply), but also to summon / revive your pets. These will sell good, and if you have high Capping skill, there is a chance you will be head of a Hunting ground in a town soon, wich makes you money.
Join a residence (town), or buy shares of these.
Shares will give you money every year in Goonzu (few real life days) , being in a town, will also give you this commision, int he beginning it will be low, but later on the prices of the shares will raise (so you buy them now for 5-20k, and you sell them later for about 500k+ or even more).
The more a residence makes profit, the more it can upgrade, and give comission. So for being member of a residence you get a certain amount of money every several days. This is a reason NEVER to sell your shares =).
Also lvling will give you money, for as reaching lvl 20 will give you money, and when your weapon lvl increases, you also get money.
AFK ways to make money:
Mining, since we need a lot of materials in the beginning to manufacture, mining will be good.
Buy mining books, and find places to mine, Subscribe to a mining hall in a town, and use the nearby mines.
Farming, to make food (cooking), we need these kind of materials, so it will sell fast
Same as Mining, but with farming / farms
Horse-training,
A horse warehouse would be good here, What you do is: Someone gives you his horse, then you feed it (just stock up on all food for the horse) and AFK.
Don't scam any horses, and DON'T forget the name of the person who's horse you got, then it will be okay =)
ofcourse there are other ways. Please share them with us!
Dont forget, that Goonzu/luminary is a multiplayer game. You cant make it on your own out here, since everyone will help building up the IJJI world of goonzu, wether you want to help, or not =).
