I went back a few pages and did not find a post like this, and if there is, well...you can delete/ignore this. I don't come to the forums a lot, but I decided to check if you people knew about this topic.

So, my question is:

What is better for this game, a normal keyboard or a gaming keyboard?

And if it is a gaming keyboard, which one would you recomend?

I am very tempted to buy a gaming keyboard, but as I was looking at amazon, I realized that I really don't know which one would be the best for games like this one. I play Gunz, but I also play other games...but for this one, I am not sure about what to get.

I would post a link to the Amazon list of gaming keyboards, but I am not sure if that is allowed here (to post links to other sites). But yes, I would probably get my keyboard online.

I also like the fact that I could play with some of them in the dark, because some of them have light.

But, for playing the game, which one is better in your opinion?

Normal keyboard. You don't really need anything fancy.

I don't know, perhaps if you're use to one of thoes FPS keyboards use that..it maybe more comfortable to use. But if your'e like most people who've gotten use to preforming the moves on a normal keyboard...just get that.

I have logitech gaming keyboard. Basically...it's a decent keyboard with 18G keys on it. Each available for macros.
They provide no use for gunz besides making a "WW" macro so I can do foreverfall off a ledge (where you don't fall but are stuck in falling animation) and float in the air with dashes. (once you fall for X ammount of time your player can dasha s fast as you can press the buttons).

but yeah other than that it's useless, and that's pretty useless too.

Oh and my keyboard has lit up keys instead of pasted on letters. Thus meaning it doesn't wear off (my old keyboard has hardly anything left of WASD keys). Though my W key's shell is starting to wear off...it's chipped, probably by my nail.

I see...

I was considering the Logitech G15 or G11 one and the Saitek PC Gamer's Keyboard, but still not sure if I should stay with the old keyboard or try something new.

I use the Razer Tarantula keyboard and it rocks it is matched with the Razer Copperhead 2000dpi mouse. By far the best gaming set up on the market in my opinion, and I have had allot of computers.
