IjjiStarter application has encountered a problem...

Like the title says, basically it asks me to send an error report, then crashes.

I Have no idea what to do to fix it, I'm assumeing its a problem on ijji's end.

I had that come up once. Before running the game again, make sure the ijji beta downloader is closed (should be on the toolbar).

This needs to be addressed. I would like to play this game, but if this problem isn't fixed then I will not be able to. I tryed uninstalling the ijjiStarter 2 file and runing, all it does is replace the file in and says error. Need help.

I have had the EXACT same problem with gunbound, drift and now this game... they have never once even responded to my emails regarding this problem

Tricky, try the "help" link on the top right. I have gotten replys about the issue, just nothing that helps at all. (they basically told me for drift city, that it should work lol)

I have done everything except deleted the ijji folder and reinstalled the game altogether. I might try that but it be nice if they would respond first.

well well well. Only problem I ever had was with the soilder front. After It was fixed everyone was so much better becuase how long the game was out, it wasnt any fun.
Hope they fix this before players become so high level that I'm left in the dust.

lol...just put the error report aside, that'd be great if I enjoyed looking at a now checking installed files.... window for a few days...

Did I mention it took roughly 20 seconds to download before crashing (on a fresh reinstall)

Did the error display any kind of information? Nothing can really be done if no one knows what the error was.

I can get a more detailed report, its much larger. I accually sent that to ijji a few months back forthe same issue with drift city which never got resolved.

Let me see the larger report...I don't know if I can, but I'll try making some sense of it. The small report is vague, just tells what file screwed up, not what actually went wrong.. =\

for som pplz having trouble wit the downloading beta it just stops at 0% that means u hadnt downloaded the file yet duhhhh down load the main file then click play live

thats the accompanying file with it. there is another report kind of thing, that i cannot reproduce, it reffers to modules.

That would be called the 'Microsoft Sucks' error... -.- It seems like it could be cause by a missing file or something, not exactly sure.

Do you use Windows NT by any chance?

That's an odd error message then... It could also be an outdated version of a file... Try uninstalling and reinstalling the ijjistarter application.

hmm, if I attempt to run it from the folder (instead of the play live button) the patcher loads and I get a notext error.

ok, here is how I fixed it. Useing internet explorer 7 I went to tools, internet options, advanced. I then reset my browser to the original settings, I was prompted to download the ijji installer, but the game worked. (I think the issue had something to do with the ijji installer, uninstalling it didn't have an effect, but reseting my browser did somehow)

I'm not sure if this helps anyone else, but I think im able to play.

Well Dragon... Im really happy for you... but for me.. no dice. I did all that and i have the exact same errors for all games but gunz and kwonho. The only difference between us seems to be that
A) if i click the icon for luminary in the folder it says "the icon does not have a program associated with it for performing this action"
B) I use windows xp media center.

I can't even reformat my damn cpu because i dont have the disks:(

I think I may have found the solution... It worked for me and it might also work for others.. Don't reformat and re-install window and blah blah blah.... I simply went here to download the newest DIRECTX file.. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/Browse.aspx?displaylang=en&categoryid=2# and make sure the release date is 3/13/2008... I also re-downloaded my graphic driver from www.nvidia.com even tho it's not an updated version... If you have some type of registry cleaner like CCleaner or Ad-aware I suggest you scan and see if you have any invalid or corrupted registry and fix those... But I think it's mainly the DIRECTX that caused the problem but not sure.... Feel free to comment back...
