Super ranged attack: Just lag?

If I remember correctly, this was also in Global. Someone occasionly clicks on an enemy and starts attacking them, but physically, they can be quite a distance away. Sometimes you can nail a monster from across the screen even though you've got a spear or sword equipped. Is this lag or just a minor bug?

EDIT: Since I've already posted this, I'll also mention a few problems with the censor. For one thing, it censors out 'Brass', and any other materials that have those three last letters. Although minor, it would be great if this could be fixed later on too XD.

Yes I believe it is lag. When I play on my school network I sometimes get a huge lag which will give me a SUPER range. Or I could even kill the monster without shooting. But of course, no matter how big my range the monster still gets to hit me and even if I appear to be not shooting the monster still attacks me. :xd:
