Dear Soldier Front users,

The proper way to report players is as following. You must send a screenshot to Soldierfront_hacker@ijji.com and label using this guide.

1) VERY IMPORTANT: Label your e-mail correctly. Include the offense that has taken place. I.E. “Reporting *playerx* for glitching".
If you are sending multiple e-mails make sure each title is unique as to not look like duplicate sends. I.E “Reporting playerx for glitching”, “Reporting playerz for glitching”, “Reporting playerxyz for tapping”.

2) The body should use the following format. Copy and paste this into your e-mail and fill in the blanks.
Offenders Name:
Date of occurrence:
Reason for report:
Your ID:

3) The most important part. ATTACH A SCREENSHOT. Do not give me a link to the image, attach it to the e-mail, don’t slide show it, attach it. In the screenshot the players names must be easy to read and have proof of their cheating/spamming etc. To take a screenshot press “P” on your keyboard. This will save the image to my computer -> local disc C: -> ijji -> English -> U_SF -> Data -> Screenshots. In this folder the screenshots are listed in order of when they were taken so it should be one of the first or last ones. I have a desktop shortcut to all of my screenshots because I access them quite frequently. It is not a bad idea to do the same.
IF THE IMAGE IS NOT CLEAR AND I CAN NOT READ THEIR NAME THEN NO ACTION CAN BE TAKEN. IN GAME SCREENSHOTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE CLEAR ENOUGH TO READ. 3rd PARTY SCREENSHOTS MAY NOT BE.

Typical reasons for reporting
-Modem tapping. Typically a player will recieve many kills withen the first 30 seconds of the game with grenades. To report get a screenshot of the multi kills of players impossibly far away from eachother, not a picture of the player himself looking lagged out.

-Glitching. Going through contact barriers to get into boxes, under maps etc. Get a screenshot of the player WITH his/her name behind any contact barrier (any place they shouldnt be). Having the tip of a gun inside of a barrel or wall when facing a wall is NOT glitching, that is just an animation flaw and they cant actually shoot through these things.

-Innapropriate user ID's
-Soliciting, asking for or giving out hacks.
-Spam
-Vulgar language or Offensive language


Improper ways to report players
-Forum posts, not only will they not get banned it is against the rules to post about players and may get yourself banned.
-Private messages, please do not report players in this fashion. Stick to the e-mails.



Follow this format and the proper action is sure to be taken.

ZIP FILES ARE NOT ACCEPTED. ANYTHING OTHER THAN AN IMAGE IS NOT ACCEPTED.
If you are sending in a wallhack or any other report, label it properly and it will be taken to a secure unnetworked computer for testing. Careful when downloading hacks (As in don't do it) EVEN WHEN TO REPORT THEM 80% of them have a virus.

What about in-game profanity, vulgar names, offensive non-exploit/hack occurances?

I've been told by the helpdesk in a very robotic way to use the same email for these people, but I'm still not sure if I should.

Added to the common list, and yes. All reportable offenses. Vulgar names especially are an immediate and permanent ban.

wat if the other team has a glitcher? ..then we can only hope that someone on THEIR team has the decency to report..and how long are they banned for? forever, IP banned, or temporary ban? and how exactly do u report a suspicious wallhacker using only SS?
