2008 Soldier Front National Tournament

Hello Soldier Front players ,

The time is almost upon us for the 2008 National Tournament. I just wanted to give you guys some necessary information so you can get your teams ready and prepare. The winning team will be representing the US in the Soldier Front WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS...........OF THE WOOOORLD!!!!

SCHEDULE:
Keep in mind this is subject to slight change.

Registration: September 28th - October 7th

Preliminary Rounds: October 1st - 18th

Tournament Final Rounds (brackets): November 1st - 9th

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS: November 22nd

"PICK'EM" EVENT

From Oct 29th - 31st. There will be a "Pick'Em" event where you can throw down 1,000 of your hard earned SP to fill out a bracket predicting the match outcomes. This will work the same as your basic March Madness NCAA bracket betting. The winners will split a percentage of the total SP pool. But if anyone gets the bracket 100% correct you will get a bonus. And personally my mind will be blown.

RULES / MISC INFO
This is not a comprehensive rules list but things you need to know in order to prepare.

*Switching gear will not be permitted during any match.
*Only residents of the US and CANADA may participate in the tournament.
*You MUST be able to go to China for the Worlds in order to participate.
*There will be no item restrictions for the National Tournament.
*World tournament however, will have item restrictions.
*Only 1 team from each Clan will be permitted
so if you are in a large clan it may be in your best interests to leave and form a new clan / team. Just for this tournament of course.
*Clan points will be reset before the preliminary rounds. (this is only for the tourney and will not affect your normal Clan rankings).
*Each team is allowed 1 sniper and that player must be declared in advance.
