At first thought, you may not give a second glance to the V7 Action, its not exactly the prettiest car in the showroom, in fact, at first glance, the most attractive car is easily the snake, but the more you play around with this car, the more attractive it becomes.
The action, like all V7s released thus far, is a cupon car, requiring 15,000 skill passes, in addition to the 400,000 mito price tag. Not to hard to achieve, and you can pick up action cupons in the auction house relatively cheap, probably less than 50,000 mito, but skill passing is easy, so you can probably get this cupon on your own. The car’s base stats are very well balanced at speed:142, acceleration: 119, durability: 104 and boost: 136, I would say, the most well balanced cars based on their stats are either this or the solution. If you compare with the tiger and snake, you’ll see that while it doesn’t particularly excel in any one field, it has a distinct advantage that the tiger and snake don’t have… It has no particularly strong weakness either. I did all of the following tests on a stock V7 action, with NO parts, and NO modifications, other than my yellow paint job, so you could get a feel for the true baseline of the car. I was lvl 52 when I did the tests (S:194, A:171, D:156, B:188) The car topped out on level ground at 180mph without boost and 230 with boost (lasting 10.5 seconds), with acceleration times below. (obviously all of these could be improved with the addition of parts, aero kits, and other drift shop items) 0-60 = 2.5sec 60-100 = 3.75sec 100-150 = 7.75sec 150-180 = 5.5 sec Total 0-180 = 19.5 sec The handling of the car is superb. You’ll find that at first the higher speed of this car takes a little getting used to if you’re upgrading from a comodo or fondo, and you’ll have to learn to retime your drifts for your best lines, however, it’s a learning curve that you have to overcome with any new car. What makes this car (and any balanced stat car for that matter) is its ability for relatively high speed in addition to the flexibility that high acceleration gives you in terms of picking your lines. With low acceleration cars, an improperly timed turn can lead to tragedy, not necessarily because you crash, but because you lose your top speed, and are passed by half the grid in the process of recovery. We all know that in a race there are always situations where your favorite or best lines are either blocked by traffic or another racer… it happens all the time, and even the most skilled, well timed drifter will have to face unseen oncoming or outgoing traffic, or being cutoff by other racers who steal your line, forcing you to change your drift, which messes up your line, killing your speed. With the V7 action, you have the ability to modify your lines on the fly, and still recover without losing too much of your position. Not to mention, in cras, there are more than a fair share or hairpin, as well as narrow turns, that require (no matter what car you drive, or what skill you can drift at) either braking, brake-drifting, or a combination of both which dramatically slow down the car. The action has the ability to enter these turns fast, brake hard, and punch your way back out using its high acceleration. Ok, now that all the hand waving is done with, we can get to the fun stuff. Aesthetics. At first glance, this car is not attractive at all. As you probably know, its modeled off of a lexus sc430, which isn’t a bad looking car, but somehow it doesn’t really look like a racecar ![]() ![]() This begins to change though, when you start to add modifications to it. A little splash of colour, a new set of rims and a wing does wonders for the overall appearance of the car (as well as adding some useful stat points) ![]() ![]() However, the car really gets its looks when you use the aero kit available in the drift shop (if someone has the specs for the aero kit, I would appreciate it), which really makes this car look like a super GT class racecar. Its up to you to decide if its worth the 320,000 mito price tag though. ![]() ![]() The final thing I should mention about this car, is its fuel. Its tank is approximately 780L in size, and it chows down the fuel like it was free… the problem with that being, fuel ISNT free, last time I checked it was still 10 mito per liter. The car will travel 0.7miles to the liter, which is absolutely horrendous, but consistent with increasing fuel consumption of cars as you progress up the ranks. At any rate, expect yourself to be spending a lot of time at the pumps, shelling out at least 2,000+ mito to top your tank up. In all, I would completely recommend this car due to its superb balance, adaptability and its pure fun factor to drive. The V7 action is definitely a car that lives up to its name. (and for fun, heres a picture of the lexus sc430 super-gt class race car) ![]() Last edited by DavyC412 : 10-04-2007 at 08:41 PM. |

But since the action is about the same as the solution, (they're both Lexus) What about the Solution?

dont know. dont have a solution cupon (the prospect of doing 5000 jumps isnt very appealing), and i dont have an extra 400,000 mito to throw around. like i said, based on its base stats its looks like it might be a very good car.

Not done, there are sumthing I wanna add.............. First thing, the bodykit costs 330k not 320k as he said. Second thing, the cost for a full tank would be 6000-7000 ... so not a bad thing to use.

![]() you may be thinking of the snake, which the aero kit, as i have been told, is 10,000 more, at 330,000 second, i never included the cost of a full tank of gas. i however, stated that the tank was 780L, and at 10mito/L thats 7,800mito for a full tank. i never included the price of a full tank, as it is a completley trivial calculation, not even requiring a calculator. the price of 2000-3000 i said was a 'top up'. i never let my tank run dry, and it costs 2000-3000 to top up. sorry if that caused any confusion. |
