Arrow V6 Cielo - Nissan Skyline GTR

Summary
The V6 Cielo is one of two available cars (other, Nova) without a coupon in the V6 class in the English version of the game. It has also been dubbed as the worst car in its class and level for level, the weakest as well. Later in this review I will conclude key points as well as give a contrast with my experiences of this noble ride and others thus far.

The Basics
As the name of the game suggests, we'll discuss drifting (power sliding) first. Until now, I've been graced by a fairly mild turner, the V5 Dreamer. The control was moderate and the sliding capabilities were the best yet. On a chance, as I was nearing my first V6 coupon, the Fondo. I decided to hang on to the coupon and try the Cielo. Being a fan of the Skyline, I figured I might as well. Parts + Cash (from coupon) proved to be a successful career move.

The Numbers
Speed Score :: [147]
Acceleration Score :: [47]
Durability Score :: [124]
Boost Score :: [63]
Baseline Total :: [381]

Drifting Turns
I'm going to keep this short and sweet. Wide open--hand on the e-brake and light the tires! A quick tap of the "drift button" at 187MPH into a 90deg turn is sweet surrender as you leave your foes in your trail of smokey goodness.

Turbo Launch or Not to Turbo Launch?
This is the question for any vehicle class. It boils down to how you want to play. 3 out of 5 times if you chance the boost gate, you'll get a crappy bonus after the first one and then you'll be where you mostly were going to in the first place. Getting ahead of the crowd can be advantageous. Point to consider, the Cielo has the lowest Accel score of the class as well as most of the V5 class. Keep that in mind also.

Gameplan
This is up to you. If you race mostly in the battle zone, then an even mix of specialty parts might be best. If you do patrols and HUVs, accel and boost might be top priorties. All in what's best for you.

Race Guru Tip
Take it from me, with the Cielo if you manage to get out in front and your lead is a good second or two then the top speed will carry you to victory. If you have the money, invest in Durability parts (more specifically x% speed reducers) as well as Accel parts.

Conclusion
The Cielo looks good, handles great, and doesn't require a coupon. Acceleration is low but Durabilty is high. I feel it's almost a toss-up. No one drives flawless and this game is more casual than anything else. But if the competitive side of you thirsts for speed and you're level 41-50 then any of the V6s will satisfy. But if you're not into getting coupons, then the Cielo is the one for you.

Thanks for the info, I've been thinking of getting a Skyline in order to get into the other battle arena. How about the Impreza & Evo? What do you think of these cars compared to the GTR?

Well, stats are a bit more rounded and the acceleration is considerably higher with Fondo and Comodo. However, with the Cielo's high durability and the ability to achieve a higher score in durabilty and add parts with bonus accel as well as crash speed reduction parts, there's not much left to say.

The review is detailed enough to be able to make a decision.

Cielo == Higher speed and durability rating.
The others have higher accel and lower speed and durability.

Well teh final thing is dont get comodo lol u rather get the other three
Advantages.
Celio-Battle Zone
Impact-Huv, missions, & delivary
Fondo-Better than CoMoDo, basically averaged out
So.. if u crash alot in BZ then u shuold get celio or else its Repair time... =)
Basically if u suck at drifting... u really need to get it going>.>

Okay, first of all, you can't just say the Comodo is bad. It's a great car.. I have the skyline and Comodo and in my opinion, Comodo is better, mainly because I don't care much about durability. I'm more of a fan of higher booster bonus, and Comodo has a good booster. Good review btw.

...Durability affects how much speed you lose when you hit something. The amount of damage you take depends on what place you are in the race.

The stats on the car as default aren't the best, but once you get some parts and some body and hood upgrades it's a decent car
